This is the perfect little game for keeping in your bag. It is small and portable and it is super easy to teach someone the rules in about thirty seconds. Not only that, it is great for a wide range of ages. I can play with my young nephews AND their great grandmother.It is simple: Each player gets three chips (save the dollar bills for late night after the kids go to bed!)Roll the number of dice that match the number of chips. So three or more chips=three dice. Fewer chips=roll fewer dice.Then just do what the dice tell you to do.R=give a chip to the player to your right.L=give a chip to the player to your left.Star=put a chip in the potDot=keep a chip.The best part is that even if you go “out”, you are still in the game. There is a bit of extra excitement when a player who lost all their chips on the first round makes a comeback and wins the entire game! TI work with college students and often use this as a quick team game. It doesn’t take long, and even the ones who aren’t into it at first quickly become obsessed.I’m glad that I got four sets because even though I regularly carry around a single tube of chips and dice, there are times when I know that I will be with a larger group and we will need all the chips. It keeps things going to play with multiple sets of dice when you are at a big table as well.I’m pretty sure I will lose at least one set to a new LRC enthusiast so I’m glad to have backups. However, the plastic tubes holding these pieces were quite flimsy, with several arriving broken and damaged. This makes me doubt their durability, especially if kept in a backpack or wheelchair bag.Despite this, if you don’t mind transferring the pieces to a more durable bag, this game is still a great choice for both its price and functionality. It brings back wonderful memories and continues to provide fun, portable entertainment.
