Dr. Martens Talib Brando Chukka Boot

This is my first pair of Dr Martens boots and I have to say that I'm lovin' these boots! As others have posted about the fit, get one size up (my size is US men's 10.5 , ordered US men's 11) then get a thick insole. I removed the insoles that came with the shoes and used the  SOLE Active Thick Shoe Insoles  which has support for a medium/high arch. The fit is perfect and comfortable with the SOLE Active Thick Shoe Insoles.09/06/2017 Update - Found that the  SOLE Active Thick Shoe Insoles  are just a bit too snug with these boots. Ended up getting the  SOLE Active Medium Shoe Insoles, Red, 11 US/Men's 11 M US  which are thinner than the  SOLE Active Thick Shoe Insoles . In combination with any of the ultra light/light (WITHOUT cushion) Darn Tough Socks, the fit is comfortable and I can wear the boots all day! I personally use  Darn Tough Vermont Men's 1/4 Merino Wool Ultra-Light Athletic Socks, Charcoal, Large (10-12)  and  Darn Tough Standard Issue Mid-Calf Light Socks,Black,Large .Alternatively, get the  SOLE Active Thin Shoe Insoles, Grey, 11 US/Men's 11 M US  and use with the Darn Tough Socks that have cushion or any other thick sock.

Lovely DMs very unusual style and not your usual kind. Look great on and very expensive looking.

Great boots, cheaper than in the shop.

The leather in these boots was defective very disappointing. I keep them as I took them on a long trip but they do not wear like normal dr. Martens. Really sad as these are boots which should last a long time.
