The original flex backing plate after 10+ yrs broke. This is a direct oem replacement. Worked perfect.

Warning... LUBE THE ORIGINAL back side. and this replacement won’t be needed.
Good replacement for all those like me who NEVER LUBED the original. I thought the dust ting lip got destroyed. Thanks to YouTube for a post regarding LUBING THE BACK SIDE!!!!

Close, but not a perfect fit
I lost the velcro on my original one after about 10 years. I bought this replacement backing pad and it is just ever so slightly thicker than my original one where the bolt goes through preventing it from being snug. There is now just a tiny bit of wiggle on the backing pad. I do not know if this is just a knock off or if the problem exists because they modified the Flex XC 3401 VRG over time. I am going to give this replacement part a try. I will follow up on my review.
