As per the instruction, I oiled these locks prior to resetting the combo and installing them. The dials move smoothly and the mechanism works flawlessly. Resetting the combination was straightforward and took less than a minute. I have installed these on five rifles (ranging from an AR15 to a 1022), without issue. I will be purchasing another five pack soon, for transporting pistols to the range. Highly recommended!

I needed to lock up vintage and contemporary pistols and a shotgun, so I tried this 5-pack. They seem stout enough, and the combination is easy to set. But they sure need some lube on the dials. A little teflon tri-flow worked magic.I was able to fit one to a Colt SAA revolver without modification. I tried a Colt Anaconda and Colt Python and neither one accepted the lock very well. I removed the "anti marring" pieces so I was left with two steel halves pressed into my trigger guards. They locked up securely with the pin behind the trigger. On the Python they fit well enough that I'm satisfied. With the Anaconda I did get the locking pin behind the trigger but the lock is able to rotate out of position, not parallel to the barrel. Regardless, with the lock in place I can't run the trigger in single or double action. So it looks screwy on the Anaconda but it's secure. On the Python, SAA and Mossberg shotgun. all is well and they operate as expected. The teflon tri-lube did its magic and they're easy to set too.

I have four fairly old guns (late 1800s - mid 1900s) hanging on the wall from several family members. I figured I'd add a trigger lock as they are still operational. These fit the bill perfectly. On my double barrel shotgun the trigger guard is a little thick, so one of these barely fit on it but I was able to squeeze in two clicks to lock it in. They seem like really strong locks with the exception of the plastic unlocking switch. Be cautious when setting your own combination. Ensure you are using a screwdriver (mine came with one) and press the reset button ALL THE WAY in, not just partially with your finger like I did the first time. Luckily I was able to figure out the combination because it didn't set right when I didn't fully push the reset pin in. I expect these to last a long while.

What if you forget or lose your trigger lock keys?!?! These are great to have extra COMBO locking tigger locks. Well worth having extras around.

These locks are easy to use- which makes them terrible if you want to deter thieves. They are very easy to pick and reprogram. But if your goal is to keep kids safe then they will do the trick well. I have not had the problem of being able to pull the trigger with the lock on- they fit each trigger differently so you have to find the way they fit best. They are also very thick so if you have factory plastic cases they will push against the case and make it harder to close.

4 out of 5 worked after setting passcode. I wouldn’t recommend because of that. The locks that worked appeared solid and easy to remove.I set the passcode on one lock and it wouldn’t release. I kept trying (slightly moving the numbers up and down) and finally it came off. Reset the passcode again and it wouldn’t come apart. It’s going in the garbage.Don’t expect them to fit every gun you have. They didn’t fit perfectly on my four but they will do the job in keeping young hands from pulling the trigger but I still don’t recommend.

Bought this 5-tigger locks, reset combination. One of them doen't work but the seller refunded that money timely. Locks are good and solid, easy to use.

These locks have a flat ‘male’ end which assists greatly when trying to lock your firearm into a smallish carry case. Setting the 3-digit combo is straightforward and easy.
