Smart Electric Wall Heater, 28dB Silent Ceramic Space Heaters for Home, Low Energy, 30° Oscillation, Adjustable Thermostat, 24H Timer, IP24 Wall Mounted for Bedroom, Works with Alexa

I purchased this heater to heat up my fairly small workshop, built on the side of my house. It's about 12 metres x 1.7 metres and is constructed from wood. In the Winter it can be freezing in there so I needed something to warm things up. I'd previously used camping heaters but they kept breaking and didn't warm the workshop completely, so you had to be close to them to get any benefit. Finally, at the end of 2024, I tired of the cold as the temperature plummeted and decided to get a heater that could heat the entire workshop. I initially purchased this little NETTA heater: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BZQC6NFN?th=1 It actually worked very well and heated the workshop brilliantly but it was noisy as heck and when I was working on my computer it was just too distracting (and I'm not usually distracted by that kind of noise). I'd previously looked at this Dreo Space Heater and liked it but thought I might get away with the smaller and cheaper NETTA heater in the link above. I was wrong. The Dreo Space Heater landed today and I couldn't be happier. The mounting template was brilliant and even included a spirit level to ensure you had everything straight. First time I've ever seen such a template. Because I was mounting the heater to a wooden wall it meant installation time for me was under 10 minutes, and I'm anally pedantic. Once hung, I turned the heater on with the supplied remote control and voila. The remote is simple and easy to understand and within 2 minutes I knew exactly how to control the heater. I popped it on H3 (the highest setting) and it made light work of heating my workshop. I'm now sat less than 1m away from the heater as I type this review and the noise generated is audible but in no way bothersome. You simply forget about it. You can listen to it in the 20 second video I have attached to this review at the highest setting. As you turn the heater down from H3 to H2 to H1 the sound level also decreases, something which did not happen with the NETTA. At H1 this heater is virtually silent. There's really no need to connect the heater to your phone but I was a tad curious to see how it would work, so I downloaded the DREO app on my iPhone 11, connected to my WIFI and tested it. The App downloaded quickly, took 2 minutes to set up and now I can control the heater via the App or even SIRI using voice control. The App is incredibly intuitive and very easy to use and the remote has now become redundant for me. IMO, the heater looks good, works brilliantly, the app is spot on and the noise level is as quiet as you'll find with a heater that employs a fan. One extra point. The instructions for ALL heaters state you should plug the heater straight into the plug socket in the wall and NOT use an extension lead. The cable on this heater is a generous 70.8 inches and for most applications that is ample. My workshop, however, has no electricity so I have to take an extension lead through the window from our kitchen. Just purchase this single gang, heavy duty extension lead: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0083GLNC2 and the heater works fine with no overheating to the cable. I've now run the heater for several hours to test and it's fine. Do NOT, however, use a coiled extension lead. I purchased mine for £88.82 in the sale. It's currently back to £109.99 but even at that price I'd personally recommend it. Only negative: The heat emits from the base of the heater. The angle the heat is directed is manually controlled in the same way the heat grills in your car are controlled. In a car you can direct them up or down and left to right. On this heater you can only direct them up or down to a total of 30 degrees. It would have been brilliant if you could also affect the left and right direction for small spaces such as mine. I wouldn't deduct a star for that , though. Just a personal preference and maybe a future upgrade? All in all, I'd highly recommend this heater for small to medium size rooms, workshops or bedrooms. 👍

Great product, great design, heats fast and full control via the Dreo app; with Alexa integration. Installation was easy with a drilling template provided. Connecting to WiFi and then to Alexa (which can sometimes be tricky) was also seamless and hassle free. One minor quibble is that the power lead is on the right side of the unit. I needed it on the left. If there had been a hook or channel on the back left of the unit, it would have been ideal.

We needed a smart heater and this arrived within 1 day. It was easy to use via the remote control and via the app. It kicks out a lot of heat very quickly. It is quiet to use and very controllable. No complaints at all. I don't want to wall mount it as I want it to be portable so I will make a stand for it. Very nice, useful item.

Great little heater for my home gym. Looks modern, and smart features work well. It also integrates well with my Home Assistant instance. Lots of configuration options to customise the functionality (including temp calibration). One very minor issue I've found is that the temperature can sometimes be off the actual ambient room temperature - I have it attached to an external wall which is often very cold which will be causing this. Very quiet in operation, and was very easy to install. No complaints from me! Will look to get more of this brand if I need any other heaters in the future.

Ordered this after reading the reviews and wanted something small for my 3x4m conservatory with insulated roof. It really is quite small and fits perfectly under the window shelf as you can see in the photo. It's certainly not whisper quiet and if you were thinking about using in a bedroom or lounge then the fan does make a reasonable noise. However the heat is almost instant, blows nicely round the room and turns off when temperature that you set is reached. Connect nicely with Google home and Alexa so you can turn on and off via voice or phone when either home or away. Nice remote for basic functions. Hopefully many years off good use.

I put a Dreo heater in our garden cabin and it’s been spot on. Putting it on the wall was easy enough, nothing complicated. I added it into HomeKit using Homebridge, and it showed up straight away. Now we’ve got a couple of automations running so the cabin warms up before we head out there. Makes a big difference, especially on cold evenings. Heats the space quickly, isn’t noisy, and just does what it’s told. Really happy with it. Perfect little heater for the cabin.

Very easy to install on the wall using the supplied template. Easy to connect as well just having to plug it into a nearby socket. The app is excellent as you can use it from anywhere so if you forget to turn the heater off you can just do it from the app. I have two in the garage and the app allows you to control them individually or turn them on / off together. Seems quite efficient and the temperature setting is also quit accurate. Would recommend.

Very pleased with this little heater. Easy to set up with the supplied template to drill 4 holes to mount it. Clear instructions, in the manual and in an online video. Straight forward to connect to Bluetooth phone for setting up the WiFi connection. App is simple to use and has all the functions I need. WiFi is 2.4ghz only, it will not work on 5ghz networks. Perfect for my garage to frost protect water pipes.
