Please press on nails by modelones are my go to nails for the fall in winter. This is probably my fourth or fifth time purchasing this brand and it never disappoints. The black color has a beautiful shiny coat, the nails never chip, and the bottom of the nail lays flat and alignment with my nail bed, which is important to achieve a more natural look. That said, people are always surprised when I share that these are press on. I have purchased gel polish for model ones as well but now that I have abandoned gel polish forever, this is the safest, fastest, and most economical way to achieve a natural gel polish look without damaging your nails or dealing with allergies (I learned I was allergic to gel polish). I particularly Love the short, square, active length which allows me to type at work and do other activities around the house. Whenever I use this brand, the nails last for at least 3 weeks. The trick to long-lasting press on nails are fairly simple: buff your natural nails, push back the cuticles, use alcohol on a cotton ball or pad to brush across your nails to get rid of any oil, lightly file the inside of the press on nail if you can, Place a dot of glue on your natural nail and brush some glue on the press on nail, and HOLD IT for at least 60 seconds. Firmly hold and press on the nail for at least 1 minute so that the glue can adhere to the nail. I think in the past, I've been impatient and I expect the glue to bond immediately so that I can hurry up and move on to something else. Also, don't lift your hand while you're holding it and pressing the nail on. I think it's important to press and hold it, non-stop, for at least 60 seconds. That's it! That's the secret to long-lasting press on nails. I also use a brush-on glue but the nail brand also makes a difference as model ones is a brand that produces high quality products including their press on nails. These nails will always remain in my arsenal of beauty products.

About a year and a half ago I made the switch from polish to press ons, so I consider myself pretty experienced with these things and have tried numerous brands from Glamnetic to Kiss, Nail Reformation, Olive & June, LA Colors and etc. I was looking for a simple Halloween set with some black and some glitter and came across this set...I already recognized the Modelones brand name but had no idea they did press ons as well. Boy am I glad I tried these! Easily one of the highest quality sets I've ever applied, and at half the price of Glamnetic...they took the time to get the apex right and the nails are thick and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I work in retail management and my nails take a lot of abuse, so I'll update this review after I give them a trial run for a week, but so far they're looking solid. I also love the fact that they offer such a huge range of colors and am looking forward to trying more! EDIT 10/04/25: Man, I really had high hopes for these nails but unfortunately I developed chipping/splitting almost immediately after applying them (see second and third photos) which really surprised me...I'm still hoping it's just a fluke and I will be trying a couple more pairs before I make my final decision, because I'm otherwise so pleased with these. I suspect the issue might actually be that the nail is TOO sturdy, which makes it rigid and vulnerable to hard impacts. I noticed a split in one of my thumb nails and a pretty sizeable chip in my one index finger less than 24-48 hours after application.

Application was easy, the glue that comes with the kit is not bad however, I personally prefer a semi solid glue. I love the colors of these nails, and I found the size options versatile, I tend to be rough on nails so the fact that these have stayed on and stayed durable is a great sign. These are great nails if you want something that won’t break easily. I did find that these nails tended to scratch up pretty quickly, but this was easily resolved with a quick application of clearcoat.

Love these nails. They are durable, come in great sizes, and can last for up to three weeks if preparation is done correctly. They do not bend and have never cracked for me, and I do tend to use them as tools from time to time lol. The look and feel are great, and I have had several friends ask where I get them done, and they are amazed when I say they are just press-ons. I have tried several different brands, and I always come back to these. I do hope they will make more colors.

I put these press-on nails on in a rush and didn’t hold them down as long as recommended, but they still stayed on all night and have lasted about a week. A couple are starting to slide, which I expected given how quickly I applied them. Honestly, I’m impressed they look very natural, and my friend thought they were my real nails. I would definitely buy these again.

It’s complicated Pros: strong, glue is very good, comes with everything you need, still on after almost a week of rough wear, good sizes to choose from, actually short as stated Cons: too curved for my fingernail beds, but did stay on despite that, the chrome is HORRIBLE- flaked off, faded. Color also faded after first day. All in all, the nail quality is wonderful for the price - it’s just that the polish needs work. You could seal with a gel topcoat if you have it, but I do not have the tools to do that.

Thick, glossy, stunning. I’ve used the same set twice now, they look incredible. Best used with the standard nail glue in my experience tho, not the semi solid or solid.

Love these nails! Good quality and last long. Lots of sizes. Just ordered another pack. White and black are both nice.

A nice set of short red press on nails these lasted about a week on me which was great, they were really pretty on.
