Not Bad But could Be Better
It definitely sharpens my kitchen knives!; however if you remove the protective covers to use yiu have to remember which side is coarse and which is fine. The roller itself does not identify the side is coarse or fine. It is on the plastic covers that you have to remove to use the sharpener. It is not poka yoka, idiot proof!

Just another knife-sharpening gimmick
I'm a culinary school graduate, culinary, instructor, and food & wine writer. Every so often I waste my money on the latest knife-sharpening, gimmick and end up very disappointed. This product is no different. It was completely ineffective and worse, yet actually made one of my knives more dull after using it. Nothing beats bringing your knives to a knife-sharpening professional.
