Great little NIC
No fuss with windows 11. Installed the card and it just works. Purchased the 2.5gb model and speeds are as advertised. I also like the black finish since I have a black case and motherboard. Very inexpensive card. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product since I haven’t had it that long.

It's a Little inconsistent
Out of the box this was not running at the 2.5Gb speeds (even though Windows reported it as running 2.5Gb) it was staying around 900mb with iperf3 test between 2 other machines on network that both have 2.5Gb NICs. Using the QNAP 2.5Gbe unmanaged switch for 3 PCs that all have 2.5Gbe NICs. They are segmented on their own VLAN coming from pfsense firewall appliance which also has 2.5Gbe. After updating the drivers from the Realtek site as per the pamphlet that came in the box along with a small form factor screw driver and 2 screws (using case screw to match black aesthetic) and the 2 I/O plates, then it unlocked the full menu in the interface's controller properties. Also was getting closer to the 2.5Gb speeds on local network, RDP feels smoother and stable connections without drops. There is some irregularity in the iperf3 tests though. Not getting the irregularities from 3rd PC to main PC so not sure if it's driver related or just an issue with the Realtek chipset of this card. Overall though satisfied with the price to performance and hope there will be future driver updates, not counting on it though. For what I need it to do, be a stable RDP connection it seems to be holding strong and helps not feel laggy like it did with the default 1Gb port on the X370 Taichi Mobo. This is an improvement. If you do want a blacked out PCB and the bright green LED isn't visible while doing work then this is a good 2.5Gbe card. Also make sure you get the latest driver from Realtek, out of the box is not fully unlocked. Happy packets :)

Wild name, but a decent and inexpensive 10GbE card
I bought this as a replacement after the built-in 10GbE card on my Asus ProArt motherboard failed (a frustrating, known issue). While it wasn't strictly plug-and-play, grabbing the driver from Intel's website was simple enough and hardly a dealbreaker. I did have to install it manually via Device Manager because the Intel setup wizard failed for some reason, but it wasn't too difficult. My only real complaint is that it doesn't seem quite as fast as my motherboard's original 10GbE port. I'm averaging about 600 up and down, whereas I was getting closer to 900 with the built-in card. That said, for the price, it's a great fix. It runs cool, feels rock-solid, and has been completely reliable. It got my workstation back up and running without breaking the bank.

Works great, plug and play
I needed a second network card for my pc and this does the job. It’s pretty fast, didn’t need any extra drivers (I run windows 11) and works well. I use it to directly connect my NAS. No issues at all.

Failed After 4 Months
I bought this 10GbE Base-T adapter for my OPNsense firewall. It worked perfectly at first and was immediately recognized by the system. Performance was great for the first few months. After four months, my firewall suddenly stopped processing traffic. The card is still detected correctly by OPNsense, but there are no link lights, and it will not recognize any connection. I am very disappointed in the quality of this card. It worked well at first, but it failed far too quickly. Consider this a warning if you plan to rely on it for more than a few months.

Good card
It works at 5gig but ONLY if you install the offical realtec driver. Sticker to download driver on the bracket has a typo so never works. Nothing a quick search didn't fix. Has really good throughput when paired with a 5gb SFP in my Cisco Meraki switch. Does run hot but the heat sink helps

Great price and easy installation
This little PCI card packs a nice punch! I’m in the process of re-wiring and redoing my network setup to prepare for an internet upgrade in the future. I’m currently at a 1GB speed but plan on updating to 2.5GB later. Easy installation and works with the drivers that Windows 10/11 finds for you. It will boost your current speed as well. I was getting around 700MBPS on average on my 1GB Ethernet port built into my ASUS motherboard. Once I starting using this Ethernet card, my speeds are consistently close to max. I’m getting around 950MBPS consistently now! I bought two of these so far and highly recommend it if your Internet speeds are more than 1GB and you want to utilize all that extra bandwidth. Or if you have 1GB speeds and your current Ethernet port is not quite getting its max

Works awesome but needs to be dialed in!
This unit is actually quite awesome but it's factory set to suck out of the box with EPA features that disable max performance and cause the unit to stay in sleep mode, at half power and only once you're knee deep into a download or high "load" situation where your traffic speed is sustained at download speeds THEN it'll unlock itself for a while. Otherwise it's set to use as little power as possible and stay on for as little as possible and it is very difficult to get a good connection like it is. Go to your Device Manager and find the Card. Open the settings and turn off all of the EPA features as well as the turn on your Full Duplex Setting to 2.5Gh Full Duplex. Set power settings to Always On. No limit on bandwidth (unless you have one) and set to never throttle your speeds to save data or power. Adjust all power settings for the Card to Max. Once you do I get sustained speeds over a Gig easily. Before I had the Gigabit service but the router wasn't upgraded but the computer still was slow to connect then I got this and it made everything awesome.

So fast the best nic I have...
No problems, fast delivery, work like a charm. First I bought an Asus 100C 10Gb, It worked but as when I really started to load it with data it failed, and I would have to shut down my PC. This adapter just works and it is fast. I never back up my PC so fast before. Works with Linux (Ubuntu). Can only recommend.

Bon produit, Bonne performance et Rien à dire apres 1 an d'utilisation
