I bought this for my daughter who just completed her EdD. The gown we had originally purchased looked, as she said, like a high school gown that someone had glued cheap velvet on the front and sleeves. This gown is thicker and looks great! The velvet is much better quality and the gown itself just looks great! An amazing gown for someone who has completed all the work for that degree! It fit her like a dream as well!

What a pleasant surprise! This gown is high quality just like the kind I used to rent from the university. It was easy to order, shipped and arrived quickly, and fits well. The fabric is great quality. I’m petite and the length is accurate. A little heavy but that’s how high quality regalia is. Highly recommend.

I ordered this doctoral gown, fully anticipating it to be a cheap, "it'll do for now" option for a commencement event that I need to attend in May.I received it today. It's beautiful. It fits. And it's really high quality -- lovely fabric, nice velvet bars on the front and on the sleeves, good zipper. It's a really nice, high quality product at an unbeatable price. (I priced a custom job from one of the big graduation regalia shops at $800!!)

This graduation gown is HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than the company the university contracted for graduation products. The velvet details and fabric are luxurious, almost decadent. I am very pleased with the product, as I wanted a keepsake for our family. I HIGHLY suggest that others consider ordering this gown from this supplier and forgoing the unnecessary costs associated with companies affiliated with a university. At the least, shop around.

I was deeply impressed by the quality of the fabric. This was not your HS grad thin layer of nothing. If this gown was worn in the winter—it would definitely keep you warm.

I bought this gown for my upcoming PhD graduation ceremony. The gown is made of high quality polyester and it has a nice velvet trim and piping. The gown is also very comfortable and breathable, and it does not wrinkle easily. The gown comes with a zipper and a hook and loop closure, which make it easy to put on and take off. The only complaint I have is that the gown was quite a bit too big for me. I wish there were more size options available
