Lovevery Ready to Go: Pee (Tricky Topics) Review: Great book—uses real people, not cartoons, so helped my daughter understand tactics - The reason this worked really well for us was that it shows the process and shows what real pee looks like in the potty (real kids and images, not cartoons). It was highly effective for my daughter, who had been having trouble understanding what pee was and what it meant to go (before this book, she would sit and say “I went potty!” Without ever actually peeing). Great book and we’ve now ordered the poop one. Review: Great for toddlers who are nervous about potty training - My daughter has been really frightened about potty training, so I’ve been looking for things that help make it feel more normal and less scary for her. This book has honestly been really helpful. What I appreciate most is how realistic it is. It shows kids having accidents and getting wet, which I think is so important because it helps children see that mistakes are a normal part of learning. That has helped my daughter feel less embarrassed and more confident about trying. The story is simple, relatable, and easy for little ones to understand. It doesn’t pressure them but instead shows potty training as something they can learn over time.

Get Ready To Potty Train
This book helped push our son to potty train at 18 months old. We were reading him other potty training books but the i got this one, read it to him, and the second we finished reading it, he asked to go potty. We started potty training that weekend and at 31 months old he is fully potty trained and has been since age 23 months. The book is awesome and we still read it every now and then

The only book with a picture of a poop - very helpful!
The poop picture is shocking but my kid was terrified of poop so I think it was helpful to see in a book and get used to.

Good story, with poop pic inside!
Great book for the topic, it actually has a photo with poop, which is helpful for its purpose. I mention this because this is the fourth potty training book that we got, and the only one that actually shows poop. On the downside, one of the middle pages arrived weirdly bent, so it doesn't close well. I would have returned it, but we are using it, so meh. I wonder if these are Lovevery book copies that were left aside in quality control process. Update: I set the book for a couple of days under a heavy beanbag and it returned to its original shape.

Essential potty training resource!
Every toddler needs this book while potty training! My son LOVED seeing a real kid going through the process… we’ve read this book countless times! Even after successful potty training he still wants to read it! It’s easy to refer to the main character as en example for your own child and point things out to them that relate to their own journey! I recommend this book to every parent who potty trains, it’s an essential resource!
