I got this magnetic phone umbrella specifically for when I’m outside playing Pokémon Go, and it has completely changed my experience. Before using it, I constantly struggled to see my phone screen in direct sunlight—the glare made it nearly impossible to see my screen, even with my brightness turned all the way up. This phone umbrella blocks the sun effectively, and now I can actually see everything on my screen clearly, even on the brightest days.One of the things I appreciate most is how securely it attaches to my MagSafe phone case. It stays in place really well, even if I’m walking around or moving my phone a lot. The magnetic connection feels strong and reliable, which gives me peace of mind that it won’t just fall off.I also really like the flexible handle. Helps prevent my cell from overheating and getting a black screen. I have unfortunately experienced the worst case scenario when using my gps on cell in the middle of a heatwave. It overheats and shuts down and have to hold it over the ac vent while on full blast to cool down the battery and phone.Great investment and invention. Years agoI wanted to create something for this purpose and your cell shade umbrella, met and exceeded my expectations. It looks great, and fits my cell perfectly since it has the magnetic disc on it to attach so I do not have to hold it. The purple one I got looks beautiful and so fast durable as I can tell, but I only used to about 3 times, but received compliments all around.

So, aside from the fact that I haven't had time to test it, I love it so far! Now, for the reason I'm actually making this review.I have the Quad Lock Mag Case for my phone and I wanted something that would "work" with it. This umbrella, in fact, is a PERFECT fit for the Mag Ring on the Quad Lock Mag Case. And the combination of the mag ring and the magnet on the umbrella creates a STRONG connection that actually requires a little force to break lol.So if your phone case happens to have a magnetic backing, this is PERFECT for it!

If you're on the fence between this one, and one of those cheap ones that are all over Amazon, just pay the extra money and get this one. This is hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made.I do Doordash, UberEats, Shipt etc.. and every summer my phone absolutely ROASTS in the dashboard. I've got to have it up there to see/accept orders, and for the gps. Plus those apps kill your battery, so you pretty much have to have your phone plugged in charging the entire time too. Which we know just heats up our phone even further.So every summer, for the past few years, I've been saying, man, I wish they made some kind of little umbrella or something to shade my phone while I'm driving. I had looked briefly before, but nothing really ever caught my eye.This year, with our crazy heatwave in SoCal (regularly getting above 110°) I was like ok, enough is enough. So I can't on Amazon determined to find something.I was bombarded with listings for those cute little colorful umbrellas. I was tempted, but there were a few things I didn't really like about them.1.) The suction cup holder: I have a PopSocket on my phone, so I wasn't sure how their little suction cup holder would work on my phone. Plus tbh, I've used those little animal suction cup things before on my devices, and I had 0 confidence it would stay on the whole time I was driving. And, I didn't want to deal with taking that suction cup off and on my phone all the time.2.) Most of those other umbrellas looked more decorative than functional, and I saw some people comment that the sun and heat just goes straight through the cheap fabric.3.) Since I was going to be using this solely in my car while driving, I was nervous about the umbrella size blocking a good portion of my windshield, or being too small and be useless.4.) The real selling point to me was the other umbrellas only have a plastic, straight handle. This product has a magnetic, flexible handle. Again, using this in my car, i needed something that I could bend and move to ensure the umbrella wasn't blocking my view while driving.The setup that I have in my car for my phone and this umbrella is absolutely perfect. I bought a cd player phone holder here on Amazon, which is another one of those must have products if you work in your car like I do. Then I had an old PopSocket base in my car, which I used to attach the umbrella magnet to.Have you ever bought something that afterwards when you use it you actually feel giddy? I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's how I feel when I use this little umbrella. It just works soooo perfectly I can't even stand it.I love the fact that I can bend and move the umbrella due to the bendable handle. If the sun is at a weird angle, I can just bend the umbrella a little and bam, a shaded phone.I also didn't realize how much I couldn't see due to the glare on my phone from the sun. With this umbrella, I can see the whole screen perfectly. (I hadn't adjusted the umbrella in the picture, that's why there's still sun and glare on the screen.)Bottom line is if you're looking for a little umbrella to keep the heat and or glare/sun off your phone, just but this one. Don't waste your time with one of those cheap ones that you'll just end up returning or throwing out anyways.

Love this gadget!!! Attaches to the back of my iPhone and works great to keep sun off my screen. Everyone who sees me using this at the beach or pool ask me where I got it and I of course tell them… Amazon…..

Doesn't work with phones without wireless charging capability. These only worked with iPhones in my family.
