Keeps locks trouble free
This purchase was to replace a bottle I had used up. It lasted a long time. It works great on keeping locks lubricated and trouble free. Be sure and keep a paper towel or rag handy because it can get messy.

It's the best for sticky locks.
This product works great on the door locks on my home, truck and truck topper. Locks out in the weather need this on occasion. It is the best product for locks I've found so far.

This is not a joke review. Reduced lock picking times from 2 hours to 2 minutes.
I pick my own locks for fun. I have a 6 pin training lock, which comes with numerous extra pins to change the difficulty and mix things up, that was virtually impossible to pick. Picking it successfully took frustratingly long... I'm not going to say how long but it could take over an hour. I put some of this stuff in it, ran the key I keyed the lock to about 20 times, put the pick in upside down and raised and lowered all the pins a bunch of times, cleaned everything up as it is sort of messy and smells like ass, and I gave picking another go. No kidding, after a short learning period (which I never got with the sticky lock) I picked the lock. Again, and again, and again. It takes less than 2 minutes with various size spools and various serration serrated pins, and a straight driver. The lock practically opened in fear of my pick. I could hear what the lock was telling me, and every time I picked, it opened within a minute or two with at most one reset between successful picks. Not heroic but a drastic improvement!!! I went about 5 times in a row before I decided I wanted to try this stuff on another lock and pick it. The reason I took a star off is because it uses "petroleum distillate" and doesn't mention which ones. I assume, therefore, there are toxic and cancer causing fractions in the mix like benzene. I don't see(*) why a specific fraction couldn't be used to deliver the graphite. Even better would be something even less harmful, such as isopropyl, ethyl, or methyl alcohol which are all fairly volatile and are less harmful (except methyl can blind you if drunk in significant quantities). My whole room smells like I've been huffing gasoline, and those days are over, I swear. I'm tempted to say the product is "just ok" with 3 stars, but I'll leave it at 4. (*) Actually, I do see. It's logically cheaper to take a partially refined material and use it in your product than have it well refined and only taking safe and volatile fractions from the mix. Maybe the reason an alcohol isn't used, other than cost, is that the petroleum distillate provides a volatile and a nonvolatile fraction (kind of like wd-40) which is the graphite carrier, and also leaves a lubricating layer. I have no idea, but it makes the lock and whatever room it's in smell like ass for hours and hours...maybe days-I don't know yet.

Worked instantly on my ’96 Blazer door lock
This graphite lubricant worked immediately on my 1996 Blazer’s stubborn driver‑side door lock. It goes on cleanly — not sloppy or messy — and the graphite dries exactly the way it should. The only thing to note is the strong petroleum odor, but the performance makes it worth it.
