Great walking shoe for very flat feet!
I have had felt feet since childhood, meaning that my feet have never had an arch. My footprints in the sand are a solid u shape. Over the years I tried specially made inserts, but they never fit comfortably or gave me the support needed, so I stopped wearing supportive shoes. Now I have mild arthritis in my feet and must wear proper shoes. After much research about stability and deep heel cups and all sorts of foot terminology, I decided to give these a shot. These shoes have alleviated the pain in the top of my feet, while aligning my ankles properly during my walks. They have also reduced the pigeon toed walk I generally have from flat feet. The deep heel cup fits securely around my heel, and prevents any slippage. I can feel a difference when I put the shoes on.I strongly recommend these shoes if you have very flat feet. If you have not been wearing supportive shoes, wear these for a short while at a time so that you can get used to the new foot alignment. If you sometimes wear a wide shoe, as many flat footed people do, I recommend ordering the wide. It is not a roomy wide, and is very supportive.

Great shoes, comfortable for all all day wear!
Second pair of Saucony Grid Omni walkers I bought. The first pair I tried by purchasing an "opened box, but never worn" pair in black. Never bought shoes like that before but was pleasantly surprised how great they felt and how they were brand new other than the box was opened. They were so comfortable I decided to buy the white pair recently. I am very happy with them. They are comfortable, have good support and fit the proper length for a roomy fit. I have major foot and leg pain and these shoes really work to help alleviate my pain. I used to buy another brand Spira for years but they did something different to their shoes and now they are uncomfortable, the leather is not flexible or soft and they make your feet hurt when you wear them. So I NOW have switched to these great Saucony brand shoes. Highly recommend.

Well made but hot on your feet.
Overall a well made shoe. The material does keep out rain. The downside is that it doesn't breathe as well as other similar shoes and it is quite warm to wear. I am normally cold but have found my feet overheat in these shoes. I now plan to use them only as cold weather shoes. The fit:I ordered a narrow - it fits like a narrow.Length - I ordered a half size larger than my normal size to accommodate an orthotic - worked perfectly.Heel - Ordered the shoes in narrow and my heel still slips (I have very narrow heels). I'll try Asics next time.Laces - Stay done up.Arch support - Supportive but doesn't overdo the support with my othotic in the shoe.Cushion - Medium level. Comfortable.Slip - Used in the rain and did not slip.Instep - Medium height. Even without the additional height of the orthotic I would likely be able to adjust the lacing to fit.Final thought:It's great that these are available in narrow sizes. If you want a comfortable shoe for cold weather walking and do not have very narrow heels these are great! "

The most comfortable walking shoe for problem feet!
I have over pronation, bunions and planter fasciitis. The Saucony Grid Omni Walker is the most comfortable walking show I have found. I used to wear Brooks Addiction walking shoes. They are more expensive, not as comfortable, and ugly in comparison. The price point is better for this shoe and while it may not be a fashion shoe, it is more flattering on my feet that the Brooks. Looks, price and comfort make this shoe a winner! These shoes are designed with stability for the moderate over pronator. The arch support isn’t strong enough for me, but I’m not taking off a star from my review, because I have to wear orthotics or insoles in all of my shoes. I wear the Superfeet Berry Insoles (Amazon sells them) in this shoe and the support is excellent.I have a narrow heel and wear a size 8 in regular shoes, and a size 8 ½ in athletic shoes. I ordered the 8 ½ and it was perfect! I need a large toe box. The toe box is not quite as large as the Brooks Addiction, but since these shoes are leather I knew they would stretch. It took about a week for me to break them in and now they are extremely comfortable! Please be aware these are “stiffer” than running shoes because they are designed to provide support. If you need support and stability these are the shoes for you!

No arch support. Superior heel cushioning.
I can see why people like these shoes. They are lightweight, have a thick cushioned sole and seem fairly stable. What I don't get is home people are rating the arch support. What arch support? I have high arches so without support my feet will roll in no matter how well constructed the shoe. The bottom of my foot also felt like the insoles were hard, no inner cushioning. The toe is fairly pointed which is not the shape of my foot, thought the toe box was nice and deep. I also thought they were a little tight. If I were to keep these shoes I would need a padded insole, arch support and a size larger, though the pointed toes are a deal breaker. The top view photo of the is rounder looking than it actually is, probably because the sole sticks out past the sides of the shoe.I wanted to try some different shoes out and the high number of positives had me interested. Perhaps I got a newer model than those reviewers who liked the arch support? But they didn't work for me. I did like the cushioning in the heel though.

Great Supportive Shoes for Work or Play
I am so glad I found this shoe, which was hiding in plain sight. I'm on my feet for 8 hours during my work shift. In the last 10 years, I've tried so many shoes and inserts, and wasted a lot of money. Most brands no longer have quality shoe inserts or arch support, the thing I need most. This shoe reminds me of the old leather supportive shoes from the 80's & 90's, like Nike, Reebok, AVIA and LA Gear. The shoe seems to run a little small, so I went up 1/2 size. The entire shoe is very supportive and snug in the heel and slightly wider in the toe box, just what I need. The arch support starts at the heel and runs until the ball of the foot. These shoes are meant to be snug, but not tight.
