Godrej Security Solutions Access SEEC9060 Electronic Safe (8 Litre) (Ivory)

I love this digital safe locker. Now I can put all my important stuff inside this box. The good thing is that it is not that bulky. The material is also very good, seems very strong and heavy. And, It is very easy to install. I have not mounted/fixed it because I put this inside the almera. Now I can feel safer by keeping cash, passport and other valuable stuff. Lookwise also it just has a classy touch. It has a proper colored LED display. It works on the battery power and the consumption is very low. You can set your own passcode from the 4-8 digits. I like it beep sound whenever you have to press the keys. In addition it also has 2 emergency keys. Overall now I am very calm ever since this digital safe has been arrived. Of course now I can manage my things for my own peace of mind according to my needs :-). Earlier I never ever used such kind of digital safe but after have been started using this I found this as exactly as what I expected for. Truly it's a big value for money. So, I have no idea why I bought this; mostly on whim and the price on lightning deal was sort of irresistible. But having bought it, I must say it's a fine electronic safe. Hopefully, I can give you a different perspective on it. Design: First, the "access" range is a fairly new range from Godrej and the design is nothing short of awesome. The buttons are easy to push and colour scheme is good (I know what you must be thinking, it's safe supposed to be hidden), the LED is red in colour and very large if you want your parents to use it. In either case, it feels good; that's the idea. Mounting: The safe can be fixed to wall, the floor or you can keep it in separate shelf like I have done; all the accessories for mounting are included but you will need a drilling machine to make the holes. Usage: The safe comes in hotel mode, which means you enter a password everytime you lock and unlock. I suggest you to read the manual and change it to home mode. So, once you set a password, you enter the password to unlock and to lock just close the shutter and press 'Lock' and it locks (some of the reviewers have their safe still in hotel mode, that's why they are having problems). And another thing, there is a master password, which you can use in case you forget the password, which I suggest you change as well. And if that isn't enough there are over-ride manual keys, which you can store in another safe place in case you forget all the passwords. Security: At the end of the day, a safe is about security. And this safe is right on the dot for that in my opinion. It's quite heavy (about 5kgs+), once mounted I doubt it will easy to remove. The safe doesn't unlock either with regular tricks. But, you need to remember two things - one change master password, two keeps the keys in a safe location. So, in short the safe has all the right options for you. I have used it extensively over the time I have bought it and it locks/unlocks with out any problems. Because it's not a very large safe it can be tucked away neatly anywhere. I would highly recommend this safe for it's ease of operation and all the fail-safes. There are plenty of chinese knock-offs online but If you want a safe and this is on deal, get this one. If you looking a decent home safe solution this Godrej safe is real good one. Overall it is sturdy. Automatic lock. Master Keys and master codes all are helpful. Only thing I thought could have improved is the screws provided to fasten. I think they are very small comparing my Previous safe I had had really good screw with the sheath cover all stainless steel and pretty long so that it can go through the wardrobe and sit comfortably in the wall. In this case the screws look little cheap and could easily come out with force. Battery compartment is not neatly packed and has gaps all over. Delivery was bang on time. Cashback and discounts all are fantastic making it a strong buy. At about 4.5k effective I price I cant ask more.

Good: 1. Its very well built, I had fears after reading a couple of reviews but I found them to be inaccurate. Yes, there might be a couple of smudges of paint here and there but its a safe, its going straight in your closet and nobody(hopefully :)) will inspect it once installed. 2. The keypad and motor, works flawlessly. 3. Weight of the product is decent. Cons: I would say none, but if you are looking for a safe, let me tell you that this might turn out to be smaller than your expectations. I think personally I could have gone for a size bigger, there are a lot of safes from Godrej and others, even one size bigger would have helped. The door is heavy but it does not cause the safe to bend if not bolted as mentioned in some reviews. One piece of advise is to switch it to home mode, instructions are a little confusing but some posted a guide as an answer to one of the questions, use it. To start off, the safe arrived with a Low Battery message, meaning that before I could do anything else, I had to go and get new batteries for this brand new item. Once you get things in order, the safe works well and serves its purpose, however, the manual provided is obsolete, and the instructions do not match up with this product. There are no solutions posted online either. If you want to program the safe, you have to figure it out on your own. The customer service personnel were not helpful either and they kept trying to force me to get a technician to come to my house at the cost of Rs. 500 just to program the device, which completely defeats the purpose of online shopping. Don't fall for it. This is rather ridiculous for such a big brand like Godrej. In case anyone else needs to re-program their home code, here is what I was able to do. I hope it works for you too: 1.) The instructions indicate to press 68#, but it actually means 68(Lock). If the instructions indicate *, try pressing Clear 2.) Every time I pressed 68#, I got an error message, so I had to go through all the steps listed below. 3.) Before you can change personal code in home mode, you will need to Access The Programming (pg. 6). The code is 751019 which means that there are 6 different features that you can program. Go through all the steps and change the numbers as they suit you. When you get to the last digit, there are no instructions written in the book, so you will have to figure this out on your own. If the last digit is 1, change it to 0 or 9. 4.) After going through the programming and changing the last number, you should be able to go back to change the personal code in home mode. 5.) If you set your password and it doesn't lock, go back to the programming again, and change the last digit back to what it was originally. Good luck.

The image in product looks much bigger than the actual size. If you are looking to place this somewhere in almirah than it's okay but if you are looking at something which has solid build and can't be easily moved than you should be looking at something else. The weight of product is such that even a small kid can carry around and for same reasons i don't think it is good cause if it can be carried by anyone there is no point getting this since anyone can carry it and take away and can get it opened by breaking it. It does comes with option and accesory to mount it on wall or almirah to fix it, if you are using that option it can be a safe option but not too much in case if it is not mounted. Lock is pretty simple and easy to use. Input a code, re-enter to confirm and its locked, use same code to open. Next time use same or other code to lock and open, so free to choose any code. It also comes with a master code and a physical key to open it in case and can prove handy if you forget code somehow/. Do make sure to keep them at a secure place though. Overall ok ok types. Small but is efficient to protect things if you get it mounted somewhere. Don't go by image, do read the product description for size measurement to gauge your requirement before ordering.

Good product, Amazon delivery was very good. But Godrej should look for quality check before delivery to a customer or dealer. Motor of the locker dose not working properly. For the demo I asked for a company person and he changed the motor and now it is okay.
