RPD18BL2-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Brushless Combi Drill (Bare Tool)

Brilliant drill with multiple torc settings and so easy to lock bits into the chuck. Heavier than expected but you can feel the quality, nothing flimsy about the build. The light is a great feature when working low with less light. This is a brushless drill so I know it will last and it is extremely powerful for a cordless drill. So glad I bought this and can’t say a bad word about it, excellent.

Chuck wear isn't ideal, but it still works well after a lot of use. The old blue body type is far more robust.

Great piece of kit again from Ryobi Powerful multi-use drill NOTE: (at least mine) Arrived in a double plastic bag. NO BOX. Which as was buying as a present is not great. None of the standard Ryobi cards and warranty booklets. Just one creased up leaflet and a half opened bag with the dual end screwdriver bit Seller really should state these are not boxed. Buy brushless and metal gearbox

This thing is a beast. Having owned two brushed motor Ryobi drills, and my hammer version eventually burning out whilst drilling into slate, the brushless motor if fantastic. More torque and speed. If I was to be critical, the speed control is not great at medium speeds. Very slow, slow and very fast are easily controlled, but not so trying to get a medium to fast speed.

What I would expect from a cordless drill. Sturdy, does the job well. Controls easy to operate. Nothing much to add. We’ll see how long it’ll live.
