Accurate, lightweight, and portable
This laser measure is fantastic. It's incredibly accurate in its measurements. Plus, the area mode for calculating square feet or square meters is a great addition. Along with the angle height mode, it makes any job much quicker. No more calculations needed to get the final result. The virtual ruler is also a great addition. The angle measurements match my digital angle guide to the nearest degree. I'm very satisfied with this product overall. It's definitely worth the money.

Great with just one exception
overall, this is a great product. It’s great for inside corners inside corners. It’s great for curved or irregular measurements.. the problem is when you are trying to stop on an exact measurement say you wanna measure 4 inches and then mark it the wheel is very touchy and you have to fiddle with it to get it to be right at the measurement you want and if you stop for a second, it thinks you’re done and it stops the measurement and now you have to start again It’d be nice that it would not stop until you lifted it up that would solve that problem but other than that, it’s a great product.

Has a laser.
I have not used it much. The laser is very useful to keep you from any deviation while moving the ruler.

This is the device that started my Hozo addiction.
The media could not be loaded. Very handy measuring wheel for taking measurements on anything from straight to curved objects. Very handy and easy to use and fits in your pocket or can attach to a keychain with the leather lanyard and case you can buy.

Impractical
I like this thing. The build quality is great! But there are some questionable design choices, like the metal keyring piece coming all the way off - which you have to remove it in order to charge the device. That's just asking for it to get lost. I would make the metal bit non-removable and try to fit the charging port elsewhere. Also I see it as kind of impractical - You need to be very precise when using it. The roller has to stay perfectly parallel with what you're measuring, which is hard when you have shaky hands like me, or you have poor motor skills. If you turn it at all, your measurement is screwed up.Some say the UI is weird and confusing. To me, it's really not. Two buttons, and the wheel, which you don't need to use for navigation. One of them is a 'select' button, and one navigates the menus & changes the measuring mode. You can swap the functions of these two buttons in the settings menu. You can also convert a measurement you just took, by going back up to the unit selector and changing it to the one you're looking for. Inches, millimeters, centimeters, feet, feet+inches, etc. Plenty of choices.Personally I don't have a reason to use the scale feature, but I see how it could be useful.
