Amazing set for cleaning

This comprehensive brush and cleaning set is probably never going to see the inside of a car. I gave up my car long ago and, being retired. I seldom miss it. I very nearly passed this set up because of it being described as being for a car but when I looked at the contents I realised that it would have many uses around the house. The wire brushes will come in handy on BBQ days, the softer brushes around my taps and the three prong brush , or one of the finer brushes, can be used on my PC keyboard. The adhesive gunk that came in a jar will also find a use on my keyboard, which does have difficult to clean crevices. The microfibre cloth and mitt are great for my enormous TV screen and make removing the dust quick and easy. There are attachments for a drill and those will be used in my shower and sinks. I have fitted a handle to the one that is rounded and that makes a great brush for my flask and drinking glasses. The window scraper is very useful for getting my cakes coated in chocco icing in double quick time and gives a nice smooth finish with the minimum of effort. This is a very useful set of brushes and cloths, the type of thing that you wonder how you ever managed without. At £19.88, including a decent and practical storage bag, I reckon that it represents great value. You could even use it on your car if you wanted to!

An important thing to note with this kit is that you need your own drill. I didn’t realise until after I’d ordered this set that it is only the attachments for a drill in the kit, and a machine for rotating the brush attachments is not included. It is in the listing, but I didn’t spot it. Unfortunately, we only have a mains drill and it hasn’t got an IP rating so can’t be safely used around water, so ‼️check you have an IP rated drill which can safely be used around water before buying this kit.‼️ A quick look at listings for drills on Amazon shows that drills do not generally have an IP rating (I didn’t find a single one) and I conclude that people would therefore probably not have a drill that could be safely used around water, so this is a big drawback with this kit. That issue aside, there are a few useful bits and pieces here. I don’t see the necessity of five very similarly sized detailing brushes- one or two would be enough. The cleaning adhesive is a new one for me. I can see several applications where it might be handy. It’s ideal for lifting the grime from around our van’s badge. A chenille mitt is our favourite way of cleaning the paintwork and it’s always good to have another one. Most of the items have other household applications eg cleaning barbecues, keyboards, ornaments, Venetian blinds, garden furniture etc. The sponges are basic and very small. The drill brushes are quite firm and care would be needed to not use them on a surface which could scratch. It all comes in a decent, strong bag. Given that a good bit of the value of this kit comes from the probably unusable drill attachments, I cannot give this more than three stars.

Set de 22 accesorios para la limpieza del coche. Muy completa y versátil para mantener el coche en optimas condiciones. Para los entusiastas del detailing. Variedad de cepillos que se acoplan a un trompo para que al girar limpie las zonas mas duras del coche. Accesorios específicos para cada tarea ya que tienes cepillos duros pero también tienes diferentes brochas para llegar a laa partes mas sensibles como salpicadero y demás. La uña de secado es una pasada ya que con dos tres pasadas deja el coche seco de agua eliminando las gotas que se quedan. Muy fácil de usar. La durabilidad esta garantizada ya que los materiales son de muy buena calidad y están bien costruidos. El almacenamiento esta bien pesado ya que una vez usado este set se puede guardar en la boca que te trae una vez los útiles usados estén secos.
