Really great face paint. Goes on beautifully with a soft brush... use one the thickness of the rainbow. Dip brush in a lil water, load it up by going over the paint cake a few times and paint away. 10/10.

Who doesn't love face paint and the joy it puts on everyone's face? If you have small children, you probably know the benefits of having a face paint stash and a potential knowledge of how to use it to brighten even the gloomiest days. This small, portable container is just a taste of what face paint can do to change the mood of a party, holiday, or normal afternoon. These colors from Bowitzki are bright and clear, labeled safe for sensitive skin. I had a multicultural/around the world camp over the summer and needed these to make flag colors. I felt the information was a bit different than what I received, it is quite a small amount. I was able to paint a few but the paint got messy, fast. The whole package fits in less than your palm, it is less than 1/3" thick and there are 5 colors in there! There is no method of putting on this paint included in the item, you need to be prepared. I found that even the smallest of fingers are wider than the strips of colored paint in this package. I used an applicator of my own and scooped out the color and spread it on a smooth surface to help pick it up and keep it clean. This volume is not enough to do more than a couple of small applications, but it is easy to use and goes on easily. I found that it also comes off easily, with little effort. I was lucky to use it for simple stripes to represent flags, it worked. But, if you need to access it in a hurry it is a bit tricky. This would probably make one pretty monarch face, maybe two? The paint is matte, pretty in color, and richly pigmented. This single-use product is difficult to access but what you can get out is easily applied and looks great on all ages.

This by FAR is my favorite rainbow cake. I’ve tried about 6 or 7 other brands of rainbow cakes but this takes the cake 😂. All of the colors pick up beautifully without becoming muddy and they stay vibrant on the skin! I have purchased this specific cake 3 times already and will be back when the one I have runs out! I definitely recommend!!

I love how easy this paint cake makes face painting. Least expensive that I have found.

The colors are bright

I mean it goes on smoothly and I know I need better brushes (I can update my review for application once I get better brushes 😭) But I'm still really disappointed that it doesn't have purple in it and also it's a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be... I understand it's pastel, But it doesn't look like the same color in the picture, it's more neon pastels than pastels...
