Bionaturae Organic Tomato Paste, No Salt Tomato Paste, 7 Oz, 12 Pack

I like this product because it isn’t full of items my sensitive reactionary body can’t handle. It works for all my recipes and tastes great.

This is the best and healthiest tomato paste I have ever used.

In August 2022 I purchased this product which arrived packed in a pasteboard tray of a dozen jars wrapped in plastic. The use by date is 05/20/2024. Today October 4 I opened the case to store the new stock in my pantry as used my last jar over the weekend. I discovered that three of the jars at one end of the case have been damaged, apparently the case was dropped landing on the edge of the lids. At least one seal is broken as the cap is raised and the jar is leaking and the other two may have loose glass shards in them as the dents are deep. Unfortunately the return window is expired. Thus if you buy this great product which I have been using for several years and was well happy to discover I could buy in quantity at Amazon, please unpack it on receipt. The only reason I have to mark it lower value for price is the 25% loss, as 3 of the dozen are unusable. We love Bionaturae products.

I've used Bionaturae tomato past for decades--it's the best non-salt tomato paste I've found. Too bad that their idea of packaging (see the 1-star reviews) is to throw 12 glass bottles loose in a plastic bag, then toss the bag in an Amazon box with a few packing pillows. No surprise, 2 bottles utterly smashed in transit, 2 with lids knocked loose & tomato past all over the box (including my other purchases). I got good service from Amazon Prime on this, but the manufacturer/distributor should know that the packaging issue is a fatal flaw in an otherwise superb product.

Organic tomato paste in glass jars! Love it! Great Italian flavor and no fussy little cans to bother with. I love this product and subscribe by the case.

Very high quality. I’ve ordered this several times and it’s always consistently great. I cook some onions down in oil, add some of this paste and some Indian spices and later some coconut milk and add it whatever protein I’m working with. Even added to chickpeas, this smacks and the quality of the paste is my secret ingredient.

One of a dozen I purchased had mold growing on top of the tomato paste. Suggests the lid closure isn't reliable, or the product quality control is lacking. Otherwise, I like the product taste and like the fact it is in glass.

Three of the lids were popped up, I had to throw them out. Otherwise great product! Nice flavor, no citric acid.
