I absolutely adore this microphone arm, it has really impressed me. The way you can adjust it to suit your needs, have it upside down, higher, lower, the rotation from between 180 and 360 leaves me speechless. I have so much freedom with my microphone that it rarely gets in the way. Assembling the arm was easy as! Can't beat something that's easy to build! They have an additional rod to make it higher if you wish, for me? It wasn't needed since I'm quite small already. But the functionality of it is top tier, value for money? 5 stars. The build quality of this feels like it'll last me a lifetime. The weight of the arm itself is reasonable considering it doesn't weight the mic down but still feels sturdy enough it won't break. It Holds my microphone with ease and I feel like my sound quality has improvon.

It sits neatly under the monitor line rather than blocking half your face or dominating the desk. Looks much cleaner than the old-school spring-loaded arms. Build quality feels solid — no wobble, no sagging once tightened properly. It holds the mic securely and stays where you put it, even after a bit of repositioning. Adjustment is smooth, and it’s easy to dial in the perfect height and angle without fighting it. Great for streaming, gaming, recording, or just wanting your setup to look a bit more “proper”. Cable management is decent too, which helps keep everything tidy rather than having wires dangling everywhere. Amazing quality for the price when compared to other mic arms and stands which i have looked at amd tried, it is super easy to put together with lots of things you can do to change it to the height and place you need it, its also super sturdy and makes my life way easier.

Very satisfied with this! Surprisingly good quality. But still I must say there are some places that might be worn down more quickly, for example the tip plastic that holds the peg you screw the microphone into very quickly looks like it might pop if you look too closely. Good; The cable management with this is easy The screw pins on the side let you lock it into a high or low position, staying quite stable and nice. Eh; Finding the right mounting place for the optimal natural movement for you when it comes to pushing it away and moving it around might be hard, this is a user and planning thing not as much as a product thing.

Honestly really impressed with the build quality. It is a full metal arm and holds roughly 5LBs. The cables are neatly hidden by their unique cable management system.

Getting the right boom arm for your desk is a challenge with all the cheap and wide range of options here on amazon. I took a chance on this one as I believe this "low profile" design is the best for adjustability compared to the upright design with springs on the outside. I have really enjoyed this boom arm. It looks and feels super solid, the material used feels like it will last a long time and with the easy tightening mechanisms and the small profile, this really ticks every box I was looking for. If you can get this on a slight discount I strongly recommend this, even at full price it is probably worth it given it's apparant quality.

I had been propping my Shure SM58 on a box, and I wanted a way to position the mic directly in front of me, with the option to slide it out of the way when not in use. The Aokeo AK-55 is a good value for a quality product. I have the non-scratch base mounted to the side of my IKEA sit-stand desk, which lets me slide the mic in front of me when gaming, then slide it off to the side the rest of the time. I use the included 3.5" extender to give extra space above the keyboard, and the extender maintains the solid feel of the Aokeo. There is no impact to the sound quality. It was very easy to set up, and there are set screws to keep everything secure. It's matte black, lightweight metal construction. I recommend the Aokeo AK-55 without reservation.

J’avais longuement hésité avec d’autres modèles plus chers, mais les nombreux avis positifs m’ont convaincu d’essayer ce bras Aokeo AK-55, et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix ! Ce bras remplace un ancien modèle que j’avais depuis plusieurs années, et la différence est flagrante : on passe clairement dans une autre catégorie. La qualité de fabrication est au rendez-vous, avec des matériaux solides et une finition très soignée, surtout à ce prix-là (moins de 50 €). Il respire la robustesse dès la prise en main. Je l’utilise avec un micro Bird UM1, et le bras le supporte sans aucun problème. Il est suffisamment rigide pour ne pas s’affaisser, tout en offrant une grande fluidité dans les mouvements. On peut orienter les différentes articulations à plusieurs angles pour ajuster le micro exactement comme on le souhaite. Il est aussi très simple de rabattre le bras quand on ne s’en sert pas, ce qui est pratique au quotidien. Autre point fort : le système intégré pour dissimuler le câble dans le bras est à la fois discret, malin et facile à mettre en place. C’est un vrai plus pour garder un bureau propre et bien rangé. Le bras propose également une petite extension amovible, que l’on peut placer à deux endroits différents selon ses besoins, notamment pour ajuster la hauteur ou le positionnement global. À noter que ce modèle est dit "low profile" : il est conçu pour passer sous l’écran plutôt que par-dessus, ce qui est parfait si vous souhaitez garder une bonne visibilité de votre setup. Enfin, le système de fixation au bureau est très simple à installer, compact, et ne dépasse pas à l’arrière.
