HOTCOOL Sony Xperia Z3 Case - Heavy Duty Rugged Dual Layer Holster with Kickstand 2014zc Case For Sony Xperia Z3 Smartphone, Black

Had to comment because I thought the other comments were unfair. First of all, the Sony Z3 phone isn't even in the stores yet, I got it as one of the first pre-orders on 10/23. When I took it to the T-mobile store to transfer the sim card, they had never even seen it yet, or knew they were going to carry it (less than a week ago)!This case was also pre-ordered, and I got it the day after the phone (10/24, or 7 days ago). So how exactly did the guy in the below review manage to break this case from 3 weeks ago, when no one but the developers had the phone, and the carriers who will be selling the phone didn't even know they were going to sell it, nor did this case ship until a week ago?The fit for the T-Mobile Sony Z3 is flawless in every possible way. Every hole is exactly where it should be, including for the unique camera flash, and of course you can charge with it on, I haven't taken it off the phone since I got it. I'm also completely baffled by complaints of the case not fitting, maybe they tried to put it on a Sony Z2 or Z1 phone, both of which are still being sold in stores and at Sony. The T-Mobile Z3, which this case is for, is NOT YET in the Sony store for sale, it's still listed at '$0.00' at the Sony store itself for the unlocked version.Perhaps the problem is that someone bought it for a pre-ordered Verizon Z3, which I read was a slightly different phone, which looks like the older Z2 and is different from T-mobile's. Maybe the description should be upgraded to say that it only fits the T-Mobile Sony Z3.My only complaint, which is my own preference, was that it's a solid plasticy case, and I wanted a more spongy rubber silicone. It looks and fits EXACTLY like the description. Because it didn't exactly meet my needs, it got 4 stars, despite that it isn't the case's fault - but the description could have mentioned that it is a soft case, instead of letting people order it to find out. For fit and accuracy, it would get 5 stars.

I had nothing but issues with an S4 and had to make the change to a Z3. In all honesty this is probably the best case on the market for the phone as I write this in Nov. of 2014. You can't beat the price, best cushioning and coverage of major parts of the phone including buttons. I am not easy on phones (desk job and travel, multiple email addresses coming in, hunting, fishing, exp to elements) and have always had an Otter Box until I discovered they don't make one for the Z3. The 2 piece construction of the case is a winner. I do have 1 corner of the plastic piece that snaps over the rubber/primary piece of the case that is a little loose, that is the only reason for the 4 stars. It is an excellent case.

This is a good case. It fits snug on the phone and a good price.But there are two things I dislike. The very first is that it doesn't lie flat on the table. The wobbling gets annoying after a while, but not that big of a deal. The second problem, which is the big one for me, is that the phone can not take clear pictures at night due the light from the flash bouncing off of the case. The refraction of light caused the picture to be washed out. The only way to take a clear picture at night will be without the case or having the flash off.Being that the case really does limit the functionality of the phone I decided to only give it three stars. I may end up buying another case because of this too.

I've noticed some reviews claiming that this case does not fit their phone, one even took a picture of his Xperia Z3v in this case and obviously it did not line up or fit. This case is only for the new Sony Xperia Z3 NOT the Z3v which design wise is similar to the Z2 which is thicker.This case is good, it offers excellent protection however I did notice in the corner one part is loose, thus I give it a 4/5.

It works well. I drop my phone a lot. The hard plastic part of the case seems to be loosening, and its not like I take it on and off a lot. It has only been a few weeks so we will see if it is just adjusting and will stop or if it will continue to get bigger and lose functionality

The case grip is exceptional but the design for the lens and flash needs to be rethought the hole is too small. When you take a picture in the case that requires a flash the images have a white field due the size of the hole where the lens and flash are. The pictures will be messed up so you have to take the phone out of the case if you want a great picture to avoid the backwash of light. I like it but I wouldn't recommend it until its redesigned with that in mind.

Provided great protection to my phone. I liked the rubber under layer that was surrounded by a hard plastic. Surprisingly didn't increase the overall size of the phone too much.

im not sure what everyone is getting but the case I got works and fits fine. Charging port isn't covered so opening it and charging the phone is simple. The only thing that is missing is the magnetic charging port is completely covered. One would need to remove the case to get that to work. On a side note i used the PThink tempered glass protector which fit fine underneath the case as well.
