Moondrop Block Semi in Ear Flath ead Earbuds True Wireless Earphones (White)

Short review: great sound, the fit is weird where it feels too big but they don't fall out, might fall out of case. Longer version: I have/had Airpods, Airpods Pros, Samsung Live Beans, Samsung Bud Pro, Beats Pro/Fit pro, and many more knock offs throughout my life. These are the best for the best price. I got rid of everything except these and my Airpods Pros when I need ANC. I walk all day for work and these have never fallen out or had sweat mess with them. The sound has crisp treble with faint, but precise bass. If you are looking for punchy or blasting bass go for Beats, if you just want enough bass these are great. They do let outside noise in because they don't go INTO your ears, but I like still being connected to the outside world in case someone needs to talk to me or I have to listen for vehicles as I cross the street. Because these are so good I'm considering buying the Moondrop Ultrasonics or Golden Ages when my Airpods Pros give out.

These live in my desk at work because (and this is the only point I’m docking) the case design makes no sense. I don’t know if this is an issue with similar Moondrop models, but I also have (and LOVE) the Pill: the magnet isn’t nearly as strong as what you’d get with an AirPod. I bought a stupid silicone case for it just to keep the IEMs from falling out and getting lost in my bag. The case is more durable than I expected, it charges quickly, and the monitors themselves have a sound quality far greater than I would expect from a $15-$20 model. My phone came with free old gen AirPods and holy macaroni THE SOUND QUALITY?!!! Your ears might be different, but mine appreciated the lightly textured plastic and ovoid ear piece. Once I settle it in place, it stays put without hurting my ears more longer than when I used AirPods. They also feel kinda fun. It’s like being a little robot person. And a little voice greets you when it connects! I stay at my desk with them, so I have no idea how far I could move from my phone before I lost connection. If you have trouble keeping track of your belongings, these are inexpensive enough to buy a few to keep in important locations.

I've had these for exactly 2 months as of this review. Been using them for mostly things like, dishwashing, cleaning around the house, painting rooms, and walking. I use these to hear my surroundings and talk to people. Considering the price, these work well and sound pretty good. Please note that the fit will depend on the wearer and will change how these sound on a large scale. These fit me perfectly well. Connectivity is good on these as I've never had any issues regardless where I am in my house. The mic is usable but not amazing. Overall its a good value for money assuming the fit works well for you.

Had these for a few days, very nice. I don't like earbuds that I have to jam in my ear (for ANC) all that much and these are a perfect solution for me as I don't mind the outside sound. They fit nicely on my ear and sound really good out of the box with no balancing or fine tuning. Setup was easy and took all of 10 seconds to do. While not the best in the world, these are a good set to own or gift. Very nice design and price point as well.

Fantastic sound for price, I love the no eartip design makes hearing outside sound a breeze along with my ears don’t feel clogged with earbuds in my ear while at work. I wish they were like the apple earbuds where the speaker/driver shoots directly in ear. Right and left buds makes it hard to match up to get a fit that music isnt volume lopsided for me personally. Horrible case design, easily gets dirt, dust, lint from outside job in them along with scratched up in my pockets. Happy with purchase just they need to go back to drawing board on the case.

Pros: Very good sound and amazing price. I hate in-ear form factor and this kind of earbud is hard to come by and really appreciated. I also really like the case form factor and I disagree with people who say these will fall out of their case. They are really strongly magnetized in there and you'd have to really intentionally shake them out (and actually that something I might try to get them out quick). These are a super good value! Cons: They're really round and slide out of my ears pretty easily. I am fine using them around the house or at my computer. I wouldn't want to use them at the gym or god forbid while biking. Compared with other earbud type headphones, these just don't feel like they stay in my ears as well. Also a big con is the touch interface. They are way too sensitive to pause media whenever I touch them and I wish I could turn the touch controls off completely. Also, for some reason, they can pause media super easily but then it's almost impossible to make it play again. I guess this is some kind of firmware problem and I hope they fix it, but it's pretty annoying right now.

These did not fit my ears well, even while remaining relatively stationary - I was in a state of constant uneasiness while wearing them. If i try to nudged them further, so my ears can better grip them, then it got too painful. The buds are simply too o big for my ears 😓There was no Goldilocks position for these. Had to return them. They sounded clean for the few seconds they were in the proper position in my ears. Good luck if you're buying these - may you get a better fit.

Was looking for some earphones specifically in this form factor for use at the office. Happy with my purchase overall. Sound quality is good. Comfort is good. Wish the battery life was better. At the price they are a great value. Highly recommended!

I really have to say that I'm amazed about these in-ears, which i own for more than three months now. I got them for around 15,- Euros back then, when they where on discount. Within these three months, i listened to everything on them - everything i liked in the past and the present. Working as a sound engineer (making vinyl, recording, mixing, mastering, live-pa) honestly i did not expect a lot for these. They got recommended by some youtuber and i liked the design very much, so for this price i gave it a try. Comparing them to a buddys airpods gen 4, the only thing missing is the bass frequencies apple is investing a lot into, but which im sick and tired of anyway. Id say the mids and highs are at least of the same value but in my perception, more thought through (without checking out their EQ curve though). Maybe it is about taste, but saying after a lot of time listening with them i can testify, that the moons have a lot of character (the lows are still very decent though). So going back to the music i listened to. Lots of Bob Marley, lots of Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Weeks of only Trap music, also HipHop classics, lots of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, Tim Maia, Solange, Cheb Khaled, Björk and many many things more, which i cant recount right now. With new audio gear, no matter how cheap or costly it is, i always go back to the music i listen to for a long time of my life, to be able to better compare the gear with my memory of the song, but also to really get a feel for a song through many gears, building up an inner network of songs and how they can sound through different lenses. Explaining this, i am amazed how many new things i perceived within songs i listend to for more than (in some cases) 20 years, f.e. Bob Marley and Cheb Khaled. But also songs i knew for a shorter time than that, but with the same effect. It seems like every little thing is working more sensitive within these in-ear speakers, but right now i cant think of any rational explanation - while also - being sure its not only their curve of frequencies being responsible for this outcome. A very distinct thing i noticed about the blocks, is that FX seem to sound more intense on them, especially Reverb, Phaser and Chorus. Don't ask me why. I was confused at first, but started to really really like it, just like the moondrop blocks in general. Adding to this, i really liked the design of the product. It is very practical for the every day challenges a in-ear can face. Dropped them only god knows how often and immediately thinking they broke, but they thought otherwise. Seeing they are 30 bucks now, i can assure you they are worth every single cent of it and honestly even more. In my opinion this is at least a 50 bucks product, while imaginable they are a 100 buck product from other companies. While in-ears are mostly the last step for me in mixing/mastering (Speakers and Headphones before, obviously) - just to make sure how the music sounds for the everyday person - i used to rely on the gen 1 airpods, prefering the sound of them almost to every airpod after them, because of the naturalness they owned. Saying this - after those broke - they got replaced by the moondrops, and i'm being very hyped up for what else the people over there are bringing out on the market in the future.

Sounds ok. Fit is ok. Charging case sucks. Magnets are not strong enough to be a lidless case. They do not hold the connection to the charging points, thus they keep reconnecting to my phone when I don't want to, and won't get charged.
