This is my new go to tingle! This was my first ever tingle lotion. I was looking for a lotion that wasn't going to make me feel like my skin is on fire but needed something that was going to give me a boost from my normal tanning lotion (I feel like I was hitting a plateau.) I bought this and was NOT disappointed! The smell is to die for, it is the perfect, luscious cherry smell. Nice and sweet. It's not too strong and the after tan smell (you know what I mean, that weird, burnt kind of smell that is present with some lotions) was non existent. A light cherry scent remained after tanning and did not bother me in the slightest. The lotion itself is white in color, which is perfect, because I don't want it to stain my clothes or my skin. There is no bronzer in this lotion as well, which I love because I don't want to worry about streaks and I want my tan to be "natural". It's difficult to find a tingle lotion without bronzer, so I'm happy that I love this lotion so much. A little goes a long way and it makes my skin feel so soft, without that greasy, heavy feeling. When applying the tingle, you feel a slight pins and needles feeling pretty quickly after rubbing it in. It intensifies as time goes on, but it is by no means unbearable! It turns your skin bright red, like a sun burn, but it subsides after about two hours or so. I use this lotion to tan about 2.5 hours before I go into work and by that time all the redness has faded away. But wow, the color I am left with afterwards!! The first time I used this lotion my skin was SO much darker. I use it 2-3 times a week and it definitely helped me overcome my plateau, and I love it! It doesn't burn too much, the smell is great, and it is definitely very effective. Definitely recommend for beginniner's and seasoned tanners alike.

Some notes and warnings about using tingles for the first time. *Skip to my second paragraph if you already know all about them!* You should have a decent base tan before you start using them - if you don't there is a high chance you may develop a sunburn. Cherry Bomb is what I would consider a starter tingle as it is effective but not as strong as most other tingles. For your first time use I suggest using a mix of 50/50 Cherry Bomb and another, tingle free lotion to see if you can handle it. What tingles do, and their purpose, is to raise blood levels towards the surface of your skin. This may sound odd but it is completely safe provided you are careful not to burn. The bright redness that is gives your skin surface (don't panic!) makes it much more easy to increase the darkness of your skin in a short amount of time. Unless you over-due it and burn yourself, the redness will subside within 20 minute to 3-4 hours, typically. You will begin to see your tan once it subsides. Do NOT use this product, or ANY tingles on your face as you can develop broken capillaries, and possible rosacea. You do not want that! You may shower after using this product but beware it can re-activate and be painful. Use room temperature water or cold water if you can handle it - this will significantly lessen or completely eliminate the re-activation and subsequent pain. Alternate tingles with other lotions - try not to use them more than twice per week as you can easily develop a tolerance, thus becoming ineffective. This tingle does have a dark cherry scent. It doesn't give off a strong sweet smell but rather a mild scent. After tanning, you should barely be able to smell it. Beware of mixing with other lotions with a strong scent as this can smell pretty nasty with the wrong combination. Like, oh god I'm going to puke style odor. If you don't have a scentless lotion and you want to mix it with something, go for a mild fruity or chocolate scent for the minimal gross-factor. I first started using this as soon as I developed my base tan. With my first use my skin was practically doubled in darkness! No orange at all. I felt only a mild tingle and a stronger heated feeling. I do not have particularly sensitive skin, if you do - use with caution. Mix it with something else if you're unsure. If you are not cautious and have sensitive skin this can cause you a lot of pain and possible sunburn.

I used this for tanning one year- it has some tingling- I liked it, but my daughter tried it and broke out into bloches,If you have sensitive skin I would not recommend this but if you like the tingling sensation of tanning then absolutely

I’d never used a tingle lotion before this one. So I don’t have much to base is off of. But so far I like it well enough. I was expecting a bit more tingle from it, based on other reviews. But it’s very mild. It’s nothing intense at all. If you’re on the fence about one, go for this one. My skin is definitely a deep red after I get out of the bed but only lasts for about an hr tops. Other reviews also said to beware of showering after using it because it can reactive and burn. That hasn’t happened to me. I’d say it’s a really good starter tingle lotion. Not intense. But gives you the deeper tan you’re wanting. Also smells really good. A little funky when you get out of the bed. But I usually come home and shower not long after anyways. So kind of irrelevant to me.

I've been a tanner for years... No, I am not a person that does it 365 days a year... but I do enjoy a base tan or color at times... This Tanning lotion is PERFECT for my legs & arms... It does have a warming sensation... I wouldn't suggest for a fair skinned individual unless you have a base tan started.. Hope MY REVIEW HELPS SOMEONE.. And that being said, I'm not a cheapskate, but I watch my money... The PRICE IS FABULOUS, compared to others that CAN'T do a BETTER JOB... Jus my opinion, I have used HIGH END products that don't do as well as this one.. Gonna start TANNING FOR THE HOLIDAYS, CAN'T WAIT TO GET STARTED !! Plus if I have to RUN ERRANDS after I tan, I don't """ STINK""" of a tanning lotion smell..

I am an experienced tanner and have a bed in my home. I normally use millennium insanely black lotion and like it very much. I used cherry bomb today and there are pros and cons. Pros are that it smells great. It glides in the skin very silky. The lotion feels amazing. Cons were that it just did jot get very hot. I did not experience the redness of the skin that I normally get and there was almost no tingle. Just so I’m clear I have been using tingle lotions for years and don’t think the lotion itself is bad it’s just not hot. Maybe I have a tolerance to this type of lotion. All in all it was okay. I would buy again because it’s cheap and smells great. I don’t feel like it did nothing as my skin felt nice when I got out of the bed and there was no bad reaction to it. I would have rated this higher if I had not been tanning for so long I feel. If you need a cheaper lotion that smells and feels good go for it.

I had REALLY high hopes for this tingle lotion. I read many positive reviews. Although the bottle arrived busted, I decided to apply what was all over my hands onto my arms to see if this lotion does what it says. I waited…rubbed more lotion off of the plastic onto my arms and waited. Nothing, nada zilch. No redness, no heat, zero tingle. I found the lotion to have an odd texture that never really absorbed into my arms & left them feeling tacky. I messaged the seller to inquire about authenticity & whether this could POSSIBLY have exceeded its shelf life & had expired. I was assured that the product was indeed authentic & that they just received a new shipment, so an expired product was not possible. With that being said, I have no choice but to give this one star. Amazon did refund me for the busted lotion, but I will not be repurchasing this particular product. The smell is it’s ONLY saving grace. I’m a long time avid indoor/outdoor tanner & I love tingle lotions. I like to alternate between tingles, bronzers & accelerators. There are great “budget” friendly lotions out there, unfortunately (for me) this was not it. In case you’re curious, there are a few lotions both high end & budget friendly I’m currently using and loving: Designer Skin Super Nova, Designer Skin 24 Karat White Gold, California Tan Versus 2 Bronzer and Australian Gold Nothing But Bronze Charcoal. This lotion has a low tingle that is still noticeable at its peak which seems to be on the drive home after tanning and only lasts for an hour. I don't notice much tingle while tanning just afterwards and the smell is obviously cherry its not over or underwhelming.I do NOT put this lotion on my face, butt or breasts as these are sensitive areas that I do not want on fire. I highly recommend this for a 1st time tingle lotion as it will NOT light you on fire for hours .I would recommend doing a quick whole body quick wash upon entering the shower as this can reactivate and leave you tingling again.I also noticed that this lotion left my legs way shinier than my other lotions ( Beach Time, Salacious, Hempz Ocean Waterz) which I liked! So if your tan has plateaued I would recommend this lotion as a starter tingle before moving on to something much hotter like Bombshell.
