The scale works as advertised.
As a chemistry instructor I have been using electronic balances for years, so I understand how they are used. The scale was placed on a sturdy surface and leveled. I allowed the scale to warm up for over 30 minutes. I calibrated the scale with absolutely no problem, it was a simple procedureThe first scale I purchased must have had some electronic issues because the display never stabilized to a specific value, it kept rising. I returned that scale to Amazon. The BAOSHISHAN customer service department immediately contacted me and offered a replacement scale. This replacement scale works exactly as I would expect it to. I am especially impressed by the immediate response by the customer service department. If you need a low cost, accurate scale, I would recommend this scale.

Very good value
The scale is as expected very sensitive but it it is precisely what one might expect. The cage around the pan area makes it a wee bit less than super friendly but you learn work arounds. Floats a bit needing to be reversed relatively frequently.

"O" symbol indicates out of balance
Problem: Refer Instruction Manual Sec. 4.2: “If the “O” symbol in the upper left corner shines, the workplace is unstable.” I have placed the scale on a stable table and adjusted the scale so that it is level in both directions, the bubble is centered, and the scale reads 0.000g. No matter how I adjust, I am not able to eliminate the “O” from the upper left corner. I have reviewed the Calibration Video and that shows the Scale being used with the “O” in the upper left hand corner. Also, all of the images on Amazon show the Scale in use with the “O” in the upper left hand corner. Is the Manual correct? If the Manual is not correct, please advise on the correct meaning of the “O”. If the Manual is correct, and the “O” needs to be eliminated, how do I accomplish this requirement?

This scale does a great job counting small items and it's a good value too!
We use this scale to count tiny medical parts. We make thousands of them and had issues miscounting them in the past. Since we started using this scale, we haven't had any issues with customer complaining of wrong counts. It's very important to use the scale property though. Always use the lid, and I recommend when counting small parts putting a larger quantity than 10 as a sample size. I usually go 20 and sometimes 50.

Wanders a bit but you get the hang of it
This scale will wander a bit like it is searching for the right value. Its probably not air currents since it only increases when this is happening. Sounds like a programming issue, but I guess that is just a thing with digital scales.

Works great
I am using this in a research lab at a university. This scale works really well and measures out to 3 decimal places. It comes with the weight to easily calibrate. Overall great product for the price and I didn't need to spend a bunch of money on one at VWR!

Ok but have cheaper that is better
I bought this to have precision measuring when making sausage. I learned that the numbers when taring, bounce all over the place later. Had tontare almoat every time with them same cup. it would be at zero and I would go get some spice and as I moved my hand over the cup before I put the spice in it numbers would start changing. I learned to just stick the teaspoon over the edge and drop it in. If I pass my hand up, it seems somehow to register on the scale which makes zero sense. I’ve made it work, but then I remembered I had a gram scale that went back to digits. I’ve been using that flawlessly, so this is not being used any longer. Way too expensive for the quality.
