If you used one knife, this would be the one ! It's sharp and it cuts everything. Replaced all my knifes with this one! Use it for everything not just tomatoes

Very sharp, good price. Lightweight and looks smart. The only (very minor) down side I found was that it’s a little lighter than I was expecting, can’t put my finger on exactly why this makes it feel a little uncomfortable but it’s just a bit different to what I’ve used in the past.

This is a very good knife. After moving house, I realised I didn't have a good reliable sharp kitchen knife so I decided to go with this one after reading some reviews.It's handy and sharp enough to cut through fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, and human flesh. Today I was cutting an avocado, I slipped, and accidentally buried the thing half a centimetre into one of my nails. My own fault. But, this made me realise that I can attest to the thinness and sharpness of this knife, so I thought I'd go and write a stellar review.It cut through my finger and nail so thinly and cleanly that the line is barely visible - sadly getting photo evidence to try to milk sympathy from my friends is nearly impossible. It cut so thinly that the wound is completely invisible, until I lift up the 1/3 of my fingernail that's only partially attached that I'm waiting a few days to grow out before I cut it off.10/10 would recommend. Very sharp. Very good. At the moment I'm sitting here typing a review with only two fingers on my left hand - and I thought I'd write this one as a tongue-in-cheek example as to why this knife is worth getting. Just be careful with it, and don't push too hard on those avocados.

Serated pairing knives. I have 3 and they cut so well.

I bought this knife for university and it hasn't let me down. It has proved to be of brilliant value, cutting through anything I've thrown at it from tomatoes to frozen curry! I'm by no means a professional chef but when it comes to this knife my only slight complaint is the handle feels a little cheap, but as a student I couldn't really care as long as it chops my food well!

There are only two awesome pairing knives: This Kuhn Rikon 22742 is one and a Victorinox the other. Honestly, I would have chosen this pairing knife first. It cuts beautifully. Its Japanese steel is fantastic, and I will be sure to treasure it in my kitchen.

This was the best $15 or so I’ve spent in my kitchen. I needed something that would cut tomatoes and other fruits and veggies with ease instead of gliding over their skin, and this has worked like a charm. I use it for other things too but it’s the best at cutting fruits and veggies.

Wir hatten für den Campingurlaub ein paar solche Messer mit glatter Schneide bei Aldi gekauft. Irgendwie hab ich es geahnt und noch schnell dieses dazubestellt, wegen dem Wellenschliff. Dieses war im Endeffekt das einzige in unserem Campingurlaub, das man tatsächlich verwenden konnte, es hat uns also sozusagen gerettet ... ;-) Auf den anderen hätte man nach Hause reiten können.Es ist schön scharf und taugt für alle Sorten Gemüse, auch Tomaten und eigentlich alles, was man in der Küche so schneiden möchte.
