Nice Box for the Price
I have to review this watch box from a realistic perspective. Sure, there are shortcomings as mentioned in other reviews. Having said this, as a hobbiest woodworker, the sum of parts is worth more than I paid. The Zebrawood alone would have been $40+ if buying 3"x 24" by 1/2" thick dimensional wood from Rockler or Woodcraft. I was going to make my own box with a very special piece of Black Limba I have on hand but considering that I didn't have to build it from scratch, this watchbox made my life so much easier.Now I did have a couple of minor issues. The box did rock slightly as the bottom was not perfectly square but not enough to be an issue. These things tend to happen when wood products are shipped to a totally different climate. My biggest concern was potential damage to my watch bands and bracelets due to no lining at all in the watch slots. This was a problem I couldn't ignore so since I had some high quality leather lying around, I decided to line the box to protect my watches, some of which are pretty pricey.All in all, even with the shortcomings, I'm happy for the $40 I have in it. It will also allow me time to enjoy building my black limba box without being in a rush to get it completed.

Excellent piece, no regrets
This box is beyond excellent for the price. Very well made with solid materials. To be honest, I was surprised and am still a little shocked by its quality. If your looking for a watch or jewelry box this is a solid pick. .
