OK for perfectly flat walls
I would not recommend these if your walls are not perfectly flat or you are fixing solid wood skirting to plaster walls. We have gaps behind our boards and tried these nails - they came out of the wall too easily. The nail side really needs to be ridged to stay in the plaster better. No problem with the wood side of the screw as it is ridged.

Really good quality and value
Nails are nails, but these are something else.Good, strong quality nails which do a great job and leave no nail heads showing in the wood. They don't buckle under a good hammering and drive straight. They come neatly packaged in a plastic storage tub and include a sleeve tool which enables you to place the nail into the sleeve to hammer into the skirting/wood. This tool is a little genius.Really good value.I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use, double-ended hidden nails.
These double-ended nails are a great idea for lightweight uses where you want the fixings to be hidden. They're very easy to use with the socket tool that's included: Hammer one end into one surface (e.g. a plasterboard wall) and then hammer the object that you're attaching onto the protruding nail heads - or do it the other way round. I found the nails to be well-made and tough, to the extent that I could remove them with pincers without bending them, so that they could be re-used. They're certainly secure enough for anything that's not bearing a lot of weight, such as attaching a picture frame or skirting board to a wood or plasterboard wall. I don't think they'd be secure enough for hanging cabinets or anything like that, and I don't think they'd be suitable for masonry walls. They'd be perfect for small woodwork projects where you're going to be using them in combination with wood glue, and you want the nails to be hidden. It's also a good design feature that the shorter end of the nail has ridges, so that it has better grip.
