A game changer for satellite dish setup
Seriously helpful when on the roof aiming a Ku-band dish, it completely changed the way I went about adjusting the dish onto the arc. Prior to this, I had one of those in-line analog signal strength meters with the sensitivity dial. That was a nice start, and you could tell when you were homing in on a satellite, but the issue is, you don't know if it's the correct satellite you're trying to find. Before, I would have to peak the meter, lock everything down, climb down the ladder, walk around to the front of the house, go in and scan on my satellite receiver. It took forever, and it was a lot of up and down. Once I got this, though, it was a game changer. I could sit on the roof and scan as I sat next to the dish. I could look for specific transponders and then manually adjust my dish to get it locked in, and I could see what the signal was doing in realtime. I could use this to move the HH motor, and I could sit beside it and watch it move to make sure everything was behaving normally (prior to this, there was no way I could send a command from the receiver and then run outside in time to see the dish being moved). You could also use this in place of a satellite receiver box, and of course you can use it as its own little TV if you were lacking both a satellite box and a television. It charges by USB-C, comes with a bag and a strap, and it has ports so you can hook it to a television if you don't want to watch on the screen. This will save you quite a few headaches if you're just starting to set up your dish and/or putting an HH motor on your dish (and yes, it works for both C band and Ku).

Impossible to cofigure
All transponder and other info impossible to find the latest. Info changes and can't find current information, all I can find is possibly 3 to 4 years old at best. Instructions do not cover this info. Needs a lot of work to set up. Have not found it to be possible.

Display died, must use external monitor HDMI
I'm giving this 2 stars because the display has failed in a remarkable way. Initially the first several days of using it was great, but then suddenly the lower half of the picture was a mess, then sometime it switches to a mono-B&W mode but still not easy to use. I had to setup a small monitor using the HDMI port which works fine. Otherwise, I actually like the unit and the control of the LNB in spectrum mode (the 22KHz on/off (to select hi/lo band respectively and 12/18 volt for vertical / horizontal respectively). I also like that I can get the MER and CNR values on screen (using the INFO). Had the screen worked, I would have given this unit 5 stars for its features.
