Fisher-Price Starlight Mobile

I work in a children's hospital and we have purchased a LOT of these mobiles. The reason being that they are loved by the babies (and parents), they're simple to put together, good value and really easy to wipe down and keep clean. Definitely get a thumbs up from us.

I have twins and have two other mobiles one for grannys house and one for one cot bed when eventually the boys went into seperate cots after a lot of research I choose this mobile and I LOVE IT!! It has a variety of different settings and the way it lights up the roof is so pretty. The music is nice and soothing too much better than the other two mobiles!!

I have four children, and with the three previous we never really bothered with cot mobiles - however our newest baby is an early sleeper (Wanting to go to bed for 6.30 every evening) and so we quickly looked for something he could watch and settle in bed with while we were dealing with the other kids at that time of night.Good points: The mobile is very pretty when on and not overly bright. There is also a variety of settings which allow you turn the 'side' lights off so it is only the top light if you want. You can also change between lullabies and a night cricket sound, there is two volume settings and personally I found at times the 'lower' of the settings was still a bit loud for baby. The full range of settings allows you to have the mobile moving/not moving, music on/off, cricket sound on/off, side lights on/off, top light on/off or all lights off and just have the music playing. The mobile is also really easy to assemble and attach to the cot and seems very secure, although my baby is still very young so time will tell if he can pull it down eventually! The lullabies naturally slow and taper off, which I thought was great because it encourages a 'wind down' for baby. Would suit a boy or a girl easily. Has a one-touch (hold) button to put the mobile on 'standby' and you simply press it again for it come back on - very handy for those night feeds!Points for improvement: The stars on the top light are actually static, they don't move around the room - I think it would have been more interesting for baby if some of them moved at least. There is a slight movement from the mirror mobile stars catching the side light, but it's too fast and too low really to be seen by baby. The actual mobile itself also hangs a bit low for our cotbed, we have it on the highest setting as baby is still quite young and it feels quite close to him at times. Although the lights are nice, the orange side-light in particular is quite bright and find it can have an opposite effect on baby - keeping him awake as opposed to making him feel sleepy.All in all this is the first and only mobile I have bought and I am very happy with the purchase. I don't see the need to buy another as I think this will last nicely.

Love it, debated wether to get it, so glad I did, the lights on the arm entertain when babies not so sleepy and on the ceiling for when she is, music not to loud I love the fact it fades out softly, baby loves it.

Absolutely love this mobile cot! Has all what I've been looking for!The mobile has multiple functions : music, nature's calming sounds, lights, bears in motion and the starlights projected on the ceiling. You can combine these functions as you like!Also the music has 2 sound levels! Using it on the lowest...which I find perfect for my newborn.Did not believe it when I read other reviews, how it catches baby;s attention...but my daughter at 3 days old seemed to be relaxed by the music! Using it since...is like a snooze button ( as described previously by another buyer).Really loving it!

only suitable for 0-5 months but it cant be fixed close to the mattress so no good for cot beds where mattress is raised higher. Also please note once you clip the light to the main frame it cannot be taken apart and so cannot be returned. Be aware!Starry light is not very bright and would be much better if it rotated. Mobile colours are also quite dull so doesn't catch the eye.There must be better out there.

My baby is due in July and I'm chuffed with the quality of the item, it definitely gives a final touch to the nursery. I hope the soothing tunes and projected lights keep my child relaxed so I don't have to many sleepless nights.Delivery was on time

Its a very pretty mobile, projects white stars in the ceiling although these are still. You can only see these if it is very dark. The mobile part turns very slowly and the stars that hang down from it project a couple of moving stars on the wall. There are 2 options for sound, nature sounds and music which plays through soothing lullabies then repeats.Note- Although the music does play for 20 mins, the mobile and lights stop much sooner automatically.I bought this hoping it would be the miraculous product that would teach my 3 month old to self soothe to sleep. No such luck. He will watch it when he is awake and happy but is not massively interested in it, then starts crying when he gets tired to be picked up. He isn't interested in the lights on the ceiling at all. Saying that, my toddler loves it! I just use it on music only now when rocking him to sleep as a sleep cue. But any soothing music would do the same job. I wish I had spent the money on a really fun interesting mobile such as tiny love classic or rainforest Fisher price for entertaining him when he is awake.

I absolutely love this mobile. It has so many different options. Lots of baby songs to choose from. My 4th month old love it...

Got the mobile before the expected delivery date which was a pleasant surprise. I was just so looking forward to it for my son. He loves it and I adore this mobile. There's so many settings to choose from! It helps us with our bedtime routine (Yes to nature sounds and starry night projected on the ceiling!) and it's great to use when I need a bathroom break. I highly recommend this product.

Cet article est vraiment sympa pour les petits, par contre nous pensions que les étolies tournaient au plafond, qu'il y avait du mouvement... Le petit bémol c'est le prix quand même...
