Notice how almost 50% of buyers had trouble with this item? That's because it consists of LEDs -- diodes. They require a particular polarity, while incandescent bulbs don't. The sockets are not polarized, so there is exactly a 50% chance that you'll get the polarity wrong on the first try. If one of these does not work in your tail light (and it really is a red tail/brake light that takes a 3157-type, 2 filament bulb; that's what this product is meant for), just pull it out, flip it over, and reinsert. Problem solved!

These bulbs are cheaply constructed and fail prematurely. The brake/turn portion failed on one bulb after only 2 weeks, the marker portion of the other bulb failed after 3 months! I have learned now after also buying these in amber that won't even fit thru the housing opening to ONLY buy LEDs made by CREE, the headlamp bulbs from CREE are the brightest and highest quality I've seen yet! Do not buy this brand you will be wasting your money!

The bulbs arrived on time. Installed it on my HD. The bulb is very hard to see in direct sunlight. Went back to a standard RED bulb which works in direct sunlight.. To bad though, I was wanting to switch to an LED bulb....oh well. Hope this helps

The lights when they work they work for a while. I constantly have to readjust the lights so that they continue to function.

LED lights, nothing else. They are not two step, so they're not good for blinkers.

it is not bright enough when driving under sunlight to catch attention for the drivers behind you, not so safe, will not recommend this product to friends.

I used these in my aftermarket tail light assembly kit. They really look nice. Deep, bright red and easy to install!
