Fun memory/combat game
The idea of this game is pretty simple. You go through a bit of an elaborate process to arrange the cards face down. While doing this, you must try to remember where the cards are so that you can make the right moves and get the upper hand over the other players. You do want trees, you do not want to get caught by the sasquatch. There are other dangers, and also opportunities to deflect dangers. The last logger standing wins. It's easy to pick up and a blast. The game says it's for ages 8 and up, but I think younger kids could handle the game play as long as they can tolerate light, comical "death" scenes. The cards are well printed and the pictures are hilarious. The cards stock is reasonably thick and the box is easy to open. It's travel size, great to take on a sleepover. It's a fun and unique card game.

A Combat Memory Game - What's Not to Love?
This Squatch & Seek card game from Prolific Games was fun for the whole family. Learning to play was super fast and easy. It takes the familiar set up of a memory card game and adds a combat element where some cards will help you and others will kill you off. That twist kept the interest of kids and adults who typically consider traditional memory games slow or boring. The cards are printed on good quality stock and the print was clear and free of smudging or overprints. The card deck is small and lightweight so it can easily fit into the pocket of a bag if you want to take it along for some fun on your next camping trip. We had kids 8+ playing and none had any difficulty with the game. Younger kids could probably play too if given a little guidance. Nothing about the game content would be inappropriate for them. A complete game can be played quickly - in about 10 minutes - depending on how distractable your group of players is. Our group was happy to play multiple rounds and came back to the cards for "one more game" in between other activities. Based on how fun this game was, I'll be keeping an eye out for other titles from the publisher.

Possibly too easy to play?
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to play.. possibly too easy? My 14 year old like playing card games and I bought this for her birdqy we played a few rounds and it's a cute game but it only kept our interest for maybe 10 minutes and we haven't played it since.

Fun game
I bought this for my brother to play on or camping trips. It's compact size is great for that. We look forward to playing many more squatch games.

Sadly dissapointing
This was an add on game for our family Christmas and we had high hopes, but sadly couldn't get past the directions or make sense of how to play successfully. Really wanted to like this one, but it was not a winner for us.

Kids love it
Rulebook Easy to follow along with and not complicated. No color illustrations aside from card explanations but you don't really need it. Components Just cards and they are okay quality with great artwork. Although there is this coaster in the box that is plain....maybe ther to prevent bending? The art is humorous, as intended, and makes the game more enjoyable. Very small box that is perfect for travel. Gameplay Plays in about 15 minutes. You are playing cards on a grid while simultaneously trying to remember where you put certain cards so that it helps you later. After going through multiple turns of putting all the cards out face down, you then take turns drawing from the grid to see what you got. First to three (four sometimes) skulls is eliminated and last person standing is the winner. Makes you laugh and I would highly recommend it as a light game.

Chainsaws and Memory!
A combat-memory cards game where sasquatches lurk near every logging camp... You’re a hard-working logger, felling trees while the sun shines. But when night falls... Only lumberjacks who keep their wits about them will make it ‘til morning! A backpack-sized game based on the play of Squirrel or Die from Fight in a Box. Lumberjacks spend the daytime chopping and swapping: Chopping adds cards from the deck to the forest grid, while swapping conceals them as they cycle through the players' hands. In the evening, players must choose face-down cards from the grid one at a time. Find a fallen tree? Live to log another day. Reveal a sasquatch? Lose a life! Lose three lives and you're out. The last lumberjack standing wins! Squatch and Seek is a simple yet very fun and entertaining game. It's designed to be compact and portable, ideal for tossing in a bag or backpack and taking along (imagine playing in the woods!) But it is a grid layout game, so in play it does require some table space. The instructions are clear, with examples, so easy to understand and quick to learn, even for younger players or game novices. Art and design are light, cartoony in the best way, and convey the fun spirit of the game. Full color, square cards are easy to handle, but are a little thin. Sleeves might not be a bad idea, as you'll be handling these cards a lot from game to game. Play is quick and dynamic, each game lasting about ten minutes or so. Don't let the simplicity fool you, there's room for planning and strategy, and memory is key! Two to four players, ages 8 and up. The humor aspect is pretty high, and the threat of Sasquatch mayhem brings an edge for even older players. We've found this to be a great starter game for our game nights, or fun as a "palette cleanser" between heavier, more thinky games.
