Pleasantly surprised
I wasn't sure about trying this as generally I don't really use meat substitutes other than Linda McCartney sausages but thought it give it a go as it sounded interesting. After it being in the fridge a couple weeks I finally had it for dinner tonight with a vegetable tomato sauce and wow was I surprised, it has a lovely smoky seasoned flavour and was so filling. It looks small and the recommended serving is 75g (half the pack) but I had the whole thing though could easily have just had the half. It's low fat/calorie/carb and has a whopping 36g of protein per 100g which is great. I'll be buying again and looking forward to creating recipies to use it.
