Great tasting prescription cat food
My cat was recently diagnosed with stage one kidney failure. Our vet recommended a different brand, but he refused to eat it. He absolutely loves Pro Plan NF Kidney Function wet cat food. He definitely likes the texture and the taste! It smells nice and he is doing great health wise according to the vet. I just ordered another case since he loves it so much!

I was surprised that the taste doesn’t bother my cat at all. She loves food and still enjoys this even though it is a prescription food

She wouldn't eat it
My cat ate this at first, and i could tell she didnt like it. After less than a week she refused to eat it at all. She is NOT picky either.

Yum yum
I love how these are 5oz cans. 1 can per day for my cat. But why is it so expensive?! $74/24 days seems really pricey. My cat loves these canned food. And it’s great for her kidneys. Odor - they stink for me but Aby loves it. 1 star knocked off due to price.

3 of 24 cans broken and rotten
I need this like anyone else using it because I have a cat with advanced kidney disease. The food is not cheap and I've been frustrated in the past when I've found one of the cans in the package dented to the point that the seal was broken and the food rotten/wasted. This most recent purchase had 3 of 24 cans broken/dented and rotten needing to be thrown out. I'm not sure the packing and storage of the product or if the material for the cans is the issue as they seem pretty light material aluminum. Either way, it's frustrating to have that much rotten food for a product that costs so much.

after my research this is a good canned food as some vets say for kidney disease and other vets say it isnt lack of protien for youor cat affects them, loss of muscle tone and more its a 50/50 you decide

Requires Vet prescription
Seems to work good. Highly recommend by Vet. We have to mix with water before our cat will eat, but she is fussy.

My cat loves it
Our 19 year old cat is suffering from issues with his kidneys and liver. The vet recommended a few different foods to transition him to help with balancing out his metabolism. This food is the one he likes to eat out of two choices. The old boy is acting better now that he is on this food. The price was descent and the shipping was fast.

Mis gatos adoran estas latitas. Me las recetó el veterinario por problemas renales de mis gatos (cristales en la orina). Les sirvo la lata con agua para que se hidraten mejor y les encanta. Recomendado ❤️
