Can run on 120 volt or 220 volts
I was surprised at how much heat this welder generates. I had to adjust the settings way down to keep from burning holes thru the metal. I am replacing the old Lincoln 220 Volt welder for this machine. So far I am very pleased with the operation. I feel this is a great deal since this machine has five different welding options and only requires 120 volts to operate. So far I have used the stick welder and the solder iron, I am very pleased with the welder. I feel this is a great deal since this machine has five different ways to weld. Can run off of 120 V or 220 V whichever connector you prefer, This makes the machine very versatile and portable.

My first welder
So I am just learning how to weld and was looking for a welder that I would be able to use to learn the different types of welds. I really like that this is an affordable option for me to learn with. I did not have to spend thousands of dollars and I am able to give my new hobby a great chance. I am recommending this as a beginner and would say that it has the features I need so far.
