Ideal T5 Strippers.
This is for the Ideal T5 wire strippers. I bought one of these 25 years ago. I used them extensively in my trade. My old ones were still working, but not as sharp as 25 years ago. I just received my new pair. I think these will outlast me. These are nice, sharp, and work well. You can’t go wrong.

Best wire strippers of this kind on the market IMO
I've used a LOT of different wire strippers from the "cheap" Kleins to expensive and large Milwaukee's etc. and IMO, these are THE best. I love the angled grips and the overall length of grips gives good leverage for cutting up to 10-3. I've noticed that doing residential and stripping of 14-2 up to 10-3 all day my hands are MUCH less fatigued and sore at the end of the day so I think the angled grip and added leverage really helps the tool do the work instead of just brute strength. I keep several pair in my truck in case I loose a pair and to date, even having cut a hot/N together on accident the jaws are still fine, no weld cuts or holes/pits in the jaws after my idiot mistake and they still cut like new.

My Favorite Wire Strippers
These are the only brand I purchase in this style of stripper just because of how well they work for the price. They just fit my hand and function better than any of the other brands I've tried. I really like the slightly textured grip as well, it makes them comfortable to use. They make a subtle snap noise when they cut through the wire jacket and never leave marks on the wire itself. The fit and machining is incredible for the price.

Better than most
I think Ideal strippers are better than most on the market I've been using them for many years

Good quality, stays sharp, light weight
I have used a variety of wire strippers over the years, including the curved handle Kleins (which I thought I liked initially). But, coming back to the Ideals, I realize I prefer the shorter length and lighter weight. They are no less comfortable than the Kleins in my opinion. Still sharp...

Professional's choice
This is the stripper that you can carry in your pocket all day, and it doesn't make your leg sore. Its grips are comfortable and ergonomically efficient. The stripping holes are the right sizes for most jobs, and somehow have precise enough sizing to make a complete cut through the wire insulation without scoring the wire. The cutter, though a bit on the short side (which helps get your grip closer to the work surface), also works well and with a minimum of effort. It has 6-32 and 8-32 screw cutters. and the hinge bolt seems to stay put without loosening or seizing up; it stays tensioned appropriately. I have been an electrician for almost 20 years, and I have purchased this tool repeatedly ever since I discovered it. There are other strippers that are heavier and have more features, but this is the practical choice for everyday use.

These are fantastic, time-tested and proven- maybe not ideal
A friend who installs low voltage stuff gave me his well-worn pair about twenty years ago while I was helping him out. They are still sharp. They are really wonderful strippers (I prefer the flush cutters for my EE work). I've used them for household electric work, and now have two more pairs (one for my bench, one for my toolbox, and one to float around the house). The only change I'd make is that the serrated jaws at the tip should close all the way. Those will not grip a 22awg wire. (I don't know about 20awg, because I mostly use 22awg- and sometimes smaller gauges down to 30).

By far my favourite pair of strippers I’ve used. I would only use Klein and my foreman recommended these and I can’t go back. Very comfortable to hold

Great strippers, very comfortable and sharp and last a long time considering that were not the nicest to them. They are great because they will strip big and small wires.
