Model: E26 To E39(Compatible E27 To E39) Color: White Rated Voltage: 110V-230V(Suit for All Voltage) Metal Material: Copper Conductive Films Other Materials: Flame Retardant PBT Product Introduction: This Product Is E26 Lamp Holder And Lamp Holder E39 Adapter,Apply To Transfer a E39 Lamp Holder In the E26 Lamp Holder. Note: In the E26 Lamp Holder Conversion Using E39 Bulbs. Does Not Convert Voltage!!! Review: Works as expected - I needed this for my outdoor post lamp as I bought commercial lamp. It solved the problem Review: Testing made simple! - We were in the process of replacing our metal halide or high pressure sodium outdoor flood lights with LED bulbs. To do so we found that all we needed to do was remove or bypass the transformers or balists in existing fixtures then screw in an E39 base LED bulb. Before we ordered all the replacement LED bulbs we would need to make the conversion we wanted to see how bright the LED bulbs would be in specific locations. So, we ordered 1 LED bulb in 3 different sizes/wattages that we thought would give us the light we were looking for. Since we didn't have any construction-type flood lights with E39 bases, we order this converter so we could just take medium base fixture outside and plug it into an extension cord and see how bright each LED bulb was. It was simple and cheap and we could actually see the light output of each LED bulb in the actual site location. Once we figured how which wattage LED would work best for us we ordered the corn-row E39 base LED bulbs, removed the transformer in each parking light fixture and screwed in the LED bulb. For us, an 80 watt corn row LED bulb replaced a 400 watt metal halide bulb in our outdoor floodlight fixtures and will save us 320 watts of power per bulb from now on and we didn't need to replace our existing outdoor fixtures, which saved even more money. Now our parking lot is as bright as we needed and we save lots of money.

Does what I need it to
Bought to adapt mogul base bulbs to standard base for testing purposes and it appears to work well even when behind very powerful bulbs, I wouldn't trust it behind anything more than 100W for more than a few minutes due to the plastic used, but for smaller bulbs it doesn't get too warm

Use a big LED in a household fixture for shop, shed
It’s not often that one needs to convert a 39 sized commercial bulb to a household 26, but on the farm it happens to us, and this converter is both inexpensive and well made. Todays big LED lights can operate in a residential fixture where the older halogens couldn’t, which means your garage or shed can be bright as you want it using a large bulb even if it has the large commercial screw end, using a converter like this.

Perfect!
There really isn't much to say about this. My father brought home a couple of giant lightbulbs from his workplace, and I learned that they had an E39 base. This adapter let me use them in a normal socket. I intend to put it on a dimmer so that I can have a dimly glowing filament as a decoration in my basement, but I need to be aware that it'll also act as a space heater! One small word of warning, putting a 750w lightbulb in a cheap lamp that says "60w maximum!" is a very bad idea. Turning on the bulb was like a sun in my living room! After a few minutes, I smelled burning plastic. The good news is that the smell was not coming from the Mogul base, but rather from the lamp itself. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and it seems well-built.

Doesn't work
I thought I'd take a gamble on the chance that I might actually get one that works. Of course it took me forever to get to it but I did and I was as disappointed as I expected. Like so many other reviewers here, it just plain doesn't work. It's pretty cheap so don't be surprised if you roll the dice and get a failure.
