Beautifully written and immersive into the world of tarot
If you are interested in ceremonial magic and tarot, buy this book!!! This is not your typical book of tarot that only lists divinatory meanings and typical card spreads, it is designed to get you connected with the cards, to make them your own, and instill it within you. The various homework involved and meditations help install the knowledge into yourself and develop a deep understanding. True to Lon’s previous books, you will feel at home and as if you have a personal teacher, infused with his humor and decades of experience. Beautifully written and designed, this is a must have book. Though it is not a quick read by any means, take your time, follow Lon’s guidance, and enter the magical world that is within you.

Truths of the Heart
This is not a book to simply read or rush through. It is for anyone though who wants to learn Tarot, just understand you need to "graft" with it to an extent (look for his new video on visualizing the Cube of Space!). Initiates are generally required to internalize the Tarot, Hebrew Aleph Bet, number system associated with it, as well as the Qabalistic Tree of Life. This is a companion to work with uniquely on that journey, simply because one teaches the other as you unlock meanings that only the Heart reveals to you over time and experience. The Tarot gives you portals of wisdom to learn about the Self. You live it, not intellectualize it. I have many of Mr. Duquette's books, but I suspect that this is one that grows as you do, so it is difficult to be able to elaborate more deeply than this, simply because it is like trying to describe what Love is to someone who has never experienced it. Trust yourself.

Could have been titled "The Dao of Tarot"
If you are even slightly interested in the tarot or looking for the deepest dive into it's meaning, this book will amaze you! Lon Milo Duquette has done it again. The text is very thorough and extremely thought provoking and quite capable of changing your consciousness as well. I have been going through it slowly. Not to be lazy by any means. I am building a spiritual temple here! You gotta measure twice and cut once!

The Illuminated Path
DuQuette states that for many, the Tarot serves as a compass that illuminates the path to "true will" and personal destiny. In her foreword, Mary Greer notes that the Tarot can be used to mirror one's experiences, as well as to manipulate one's experiences and the world around us. This is done with the use of magical correspondences initiated by the late 19th-century Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Greer notes that the system integrates numbers, astrology, color, sound, geometry, letters, and the Qabalistic Tree of Life. In his section on building the foundation for reading the Tarot using the above correspondences, he introduces the reader to the Four Qabalistic Worlds, the Four Parts of the Soul, The Four Elements, Tarot Suits and Court Cards, In this section he also includes an active meditation. The section on the Tree of Life and the Sepher Yetzirah, addresses the ten numbers and the Tree of Life. This is also where we see the planetary spheres introduced. The section on the Cube of Space addresses the Three Primitive Elemental Trumps, the Three Dimensions, the Three Mother Letters, the Seven Planetary Trumps, and the Seven Double Letters. The sections on creating your own deck start with the Mother Letter Trumps, moving on to the Double Letter Trumps, the Simple Letter Trumps, the Lessor (Minor) Arcana, the Aces and Princesses, the Knights, Queens, and Princes, and the Small Cards (numbers 2 through 10). There is a full page black and white image for each card, with explanations of the imagery and symbols, and suggestions as to how to make the card your own. This book is replete with explanations, diagrams. exercises, and rituals to bring this information solidly into the reader's life. This is a book to be worked with, again and again and again. It is not something that you read and put down. The information is easy to follow and understand. The goal is to illuminate your own path by activating and integrating the wisdom and energy within the cards. This book would be of interest to those wishing to learn about the esoteric foundation of the Tarot and those wishing to integrate the Tarot as a tool of self-knowledge into their lives.

Lon at his very best
The Chicken Qabalah has been my favorite Lon Milo Duquette book for years. After reading through this new book, and then returning to the beginning to perform all of the meditations and exercises in a timely manner, I must now say that this book, 'Tarot Architect', has surpassed Chicken and become my favorite LMD book. You can read many of the detailed reviews below to see just what this book has to offer but suffice it to say that it is Lon at his very informative and witty best and I only wish this were available many years ago when I first began my journey into this field. Great job, Lon!
