Bluelab TRUNV2 Truncheon Nutrient Meter for Plant Germination, White

I seemed to have variations in my EC measurements in the beginning. I used a calibration fluid, which that or the Truncheon were suspect. . I contacted Bluelab twice, they answered promptly and they gave me some good advice. If you don't have the cleaning kit; which I don't, they advise plain old baking powder. Make a paste and give the electrodes a good cleaning . I used a piece of chamois on a plastic handle (non oily) They sold these to clean styus on analog record decks. I began to use the Truncheon with confidence. I have tested my tap water which comes out between EC .3 / .4 - Rain water doesn't conduct and shows nothing on the scale as it should. I am sure it is working fine now. The nutrient charts showing dilution and target EC values are in the 'ball park'. Initially one considers it expensive? however the guarantee period gives assurance and value. The Truncheon is very well made/manufactured so very durable and should last a long time. Conclussion: very good value and recommended

Ordered and received a faulty product, amazon sent a replacement the next day. Spoke with Bluelab directly as well they were very helpful. 10/10 tool, somewhat analogue, no need to worry or guess anymore!

product arrived in perfect condition. works great for my soil cannabis grow !! I like that it has PPM & EC so I can track both easily without having to do the mental conversion. And I like that its a big ass wand. makes me feel magical around my plants. Expensive but if you are trying to grow well and know what your doing - spend the $$

Ich habe des Gerät für mein Gießwasser gekauft, um meine Tomaten perfekt düngen zu können. Eine Großgärtnerei bei uns nutzt diese Geräte auch und deshalb habe ich mir dieses ebenfalls zugelegt. Denn die Gärtnerei weiß schließlich, was gut ist. Mann muss dieses Messgerät nicht Kalibrieren (nie mehr) nur sauber halten. Es schaltet sich automatisch ein, wenn man es ins Wasser taucht und ist sehr gut ablesbar. Kann man auch direkt als Rührstab nutzen, da es 100% Wasserdicht ist. Schaltet sich auch automatisch ab und Batterien sind auch dabei. Kostet zwar etwas mehr aber lohnt sich. Günstigere Geräte mit eine Sonde, brauchen irgendwann ne neue Sonde. Hatte mal eins von Milwauki, wo die Sonde alleine 75€ gekostet hat. Den Blue Lab Brauch ich nicht nochmal Kaufen, da er ewig hält, laut der Gärtnerei.
