USB-C Magnetic SSD
This seems like a cute concept. It snaps on to the back of an iPhone, where you can use it as external storage for photos, videos, etc. My iPhone is an SE, so it doesn't have the MagSafe ring, unfortunately. I did test it out with my girlfriend's iPhone 12, and I found that it sticks well to the phone and keeps a proper alignment. Unfortunately, the cable it comes with is a USB-C cable, so it's clearly engineered for use with the iPhone 15 (and future iPhones that use USB-C.)I tried to use it with a number of different cables and found that it's generally very picky. Most of my USB-A to USB-C cables don't work at all with the PC, which at first made me think I had a bad unit until I found one that worked. I also tried a Lightning to USB-C cable but only the one made by Apple actually allowed the phone to see the storage. As far as speed goes I was a little disappointed. I wasn't able to get anything more than 500MB/s out of the device, even though it's advertised at 2000MB/s, and I tried it with a number of different computers including directly via USB-C and using the included USB-C cable. With that limitation, I can't give the full five stars. Still, with the cute form factor and convenient MagSafe functionality, I like the product and think it deserves four stars.

Unique and compact magnetic-attach drive, great for phones or laptops
This is an intriguing magmount/magsafe attach portable SSD. It's shaped like a large cracked enter key, and comes with a short 20gbit USB-C cable and a magnetic ring with adhesive, so you can mount it to devices other than magsafe-type phones or metal cases.I thought I had seen the worst documentation design in the world a few times, but in addition to being a tiny fanfold document, this one is white ink on black paper. Luckily, it's plug-and-play, and unless you need to confirm the 3-year warranty, you really don't need the documentation.I tested this drive with Blackmagic Speed Test (5GB) on Macbook Pro M2 Pro, using the included 20gbps USB-C cable. With ExFAT (as it comes from the factory) I got about 450MB/sec write and 385MB/sec read. Going to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format, I actually saw lower performance, 391MB/sec write and about the same read (387MB/sec).I reformatted to ExFAT on the Mac and connected it to a front USB 3 port on my desktop, running Crystal Disk Mark with the 4GiB 5-pass 70/30 real world mix test. In this case I used an A-to-C cable that came with a voice recorder (probably not a 20gbit cable) and got similar results. The basic read was 432MB/sec, write 389MB/sec, and the 70/30 mix was 406MB/sec. Roughly the same speed range on the USB 3 hub on my monitor as well (414,389,404).I would expect better on the Mac but I will try another device or two and see if I can get closer to the rated speeds. But even at USB 3 speeds, it's a unique drive with convenient magnetic attachment for use on a phone, tablet, or laptop, and a pretty good quality cable from what I can tell. One other note. I don't see any activity indicator on the drive. The "cracked" element of the front/side design could have been a great place to have an LED, but as far as I can tell, there's no indicator and I would have liked one.

Great for my iPhone 15 Pro.
It's an external SSD with magnetism that attaches to my iPhone 15 pro. I usually use it for storing photos and videos and it supports 4K ProRes HDR capability. It's worth noting that it only has one USB C port and other iPhone models must use an adapter. However, you must know that all iPhones only recognize the exFAT format. Therefore, when you receive an external SSD, you should first check if it is formatted as exFAT.

Excellent Customer Service & Product Support
This external SSD is convenient with its magnetic housing, which attaches directly onto the back of all MagSafe compatible mobile devices - a magnetic ring is included if you have an older phone or want to attach it to a battery pack.A high speed USB-C data cable is required for proper operation, especially when utilizing Apple iPhone’s Pro Res’ video recording feature and is included, but I found it to be relatively long and somewhat obstructive. Moreover, I found that the cord would seemingly dislodge from the port on the SSD housing during recording, so just be mindful of that. Otherwise, I would recommend making a conscious effort to keep the USB-C in place during recording OR you can purchase an additional USB-C cable that is designed specifically for high speed data transfers, but select a short cable that is under six inches in length. This external storage device utilizes a SSD that reliably stores your valuable information, photos or videos, and 1TB is good for just over 70 minutes of high resolution video. Meanwhile, the seller is responsive to inquiries and is eager to help. Be sure to leave a positive review with your experience!
