Absolutely great little tool and well worth the money. I wanted to fit a complete set of new stainless screws to my motorcycle. I was having difficulty doing this because of the amount of torque sealant on the threads. This tool easily cleaned up everything for me and made the process very much easier.

Absolutely brilliant. Neeed to re-thread my car to accept the brackets and bolts for a roof rack. The existing holes were rusted and did not accept the bolts. This tool was effortless and made the job easy! Roof rack fitted

I used to have a toolbox full of this type of kit but offloaded it all when I retired! Haven't needed to tap anything in 10 years but had a little repair to do so I bought this. The taps are hss and the quality of the wrench is good though how long the plastic jaws will last is debatable. I did the job though. This would get you out of trouble but it's not for heavy duty.

Adjusting the tap feels rather bad - the threads are not fine enough for a smooth adjustment and it feels like they needed an extra pass on the lathe as there is a lot of resistance even with silicone oil or synethic grease on them they still are not smooth. The tap jaws do not sit flush with each other when using the smallest accomodatable tap so bear that in mind. The ratcheting adjustment lever/button whatever you want to call it is very flimsy, going from left to right hand is easy but centreing it at the locking point is a pain and an annoyance. This is an affordable tap and ratcheting handle set yet i have not had the chance to test the quality of the taps. If you're a pure hobbyist needing some taps and a socketing wrench then this will work fine, however for professional use or more serious use then look elsewhere my friend.
