This gun safe is, hands down, the best bang for your money. I did a lot of research on gun safes. I feel so confident in the quality, with some minor modifications, that I would purchase it for my son or anyone I care about.With that said, there are several issues, some minor, that I have noticed. The cons are: #1 The instruction pamphlet was horribly inadequate. That seems to be the norm now with items not made in the US. #2 The provided 4 screws allowed you to secure the mounting bracket to whatever you are mounting the safe to. They weren't as robust as I would have preferred, but they were mainly adequate. I will be adding more screws to ensure this is VERY secure to my nightstand and can not just be ripped away with these short screws. When mounting the safe to the bracket, it was missing a screw. It only came with 2 screws to secure the safe on the bottom to the bracket. The screw that connects the safe from the inside to the bracket was missing. This screw wasn't even listed on the pamphlet. All they had to do was include another screw exactly like the 2 on the bottom because the thread pattern was the same. Without this screw attached, someone can just remove the 2 mounting screws on the bottom and take the safe with them. SO EXTREMELY UNSAFE!!! I had a screw that fit, so I was OK. Others might not be aware, and the pamphlet doesn't mention any of this. #3 The light inside the safe that comes on when opened is very faint at best. I expected a brighter light from the pictures. The picture shows the entire opening glowing. Not even close. Don't get me wrong... I don't want a light that is so bright that would wreck my night vision, but this one is extremely weak and barely shows much of anything. #4 When the safe is opened, the drawer only opens a couple inches. You have to manually open it the rest of the way. Every other safes I was looking at opened all the way (seen on all videos). #5 When closing the safe, it doesn't close smoothly. You actually have to put some force on the door for it to properly close. Not too bad of a con. I tried adding lithium grease to the slide to fix #4 and #5, but it didn't help at all. At this price point, these cons shouldn't exist at all.When setting up the safe, adding fingerprints and the code was easily completed. I suggest adding several fingers from each hand at different angles. That's what I did, and it accepted them all. I tried opening the safe multiple times with different fingers at different angles, but it did fail to read my attempt a few times. Not often enough to be considered a con, though... yet. No fingerprint reader is 100% foolproof.Overall, even with the cons listed above, I like the safe. It seems well-made and has options I wanted that other safes don't offer. It fits nicely next to my bed and looks great! Yeah, I had to make small modifications to get this safe to where I am comfortable it is there to stay, but now, I am happy that the safe fits the majority of my needs at a decent price point. If you purchase this safe, it is well worth it with the modifications I mentioned. Make sure you make them for safety reasons... safety first, right?

Edit: after my 30 days, I had a minor issue and question about my safe and reached out to their support team. They provided amazing resolutions and worked through my minor issue. I would purchase again from this company based on that experience. Blessings and gratitude!This fits my space; it is 11 inches in diameter and about 11 inches high. It’s about 3 1/4 inches wide. The capacity is fine for home daily nees, and the slider design is awesome. It is made of an alloy steel but is not too heavy. The buttons glow but can be turned off and silenced. You can set the time and the display and also check the temperature and humidity. It is easy to register and delete multiple codes. On the backside, there are batteries and a key lock. I can’t stress enough how quiet this is with almost no click. I also noticed that the ergonomic placement of the fingerprint pad is in the best spot. Home security is essential and this is a good addition to my system..

This is a top notch gun safe. It is a sleek design and holds the gun and clip very nicely. Mounts very easily and the access is safe but easy to get to. The door slides open easily and the gun access is good. A very nice safe. Happy with the product.

I assume mine is defective or damaged, but I'm certainly not getting a replacement of this one for this purpose. I need to be able to trust it.The unit springs open with the key just fine.I programmed a code and fingerprint (and also used the factory code). All correctly indicate *on the display only* that the unit is unlocked. However, the electromechanical device inside that should release the lock and allow the door to spring open did not do anything. I even took out the drawer to see if it was just a loose connection or something, but no luck.A quick-access gun safe has one job, and this one didn't do it.

It has three option for entry-fingerprint, key pad and back up key. The foam inside the gun safe keeps the gun secure. There is a LED indicator that makes it visible. Opening the gun safe proves to be quick and quiet. This gun safe is perfect in every way for quick access and in a small space

Really like the design of this safe. We bought one and bought a second one for the office. The different fingerprints options are great. We like the opportunity to use a code as well. Easy to set up.
