Emjoi Micro-Pedi Callus Remover - (Corded)

This is my 3rd Emjoi! The first Emjoi was BATTERY OPERATED - not the best. When the battery started wearing out, so did the speed/power of the gizmo. The previous CORDED EMJOI Micro-Pedi Callus Remover lasted 11 years with very frequent use, at least twice a week. It was possibly the cord which gave trouble, not the Emjoi itself. Either way, I definitely wanted to order the same again. I actually ordered a 4th Emjoi (Micro-Pedi 3D POWER Callus Remover) not to run out, ever. That one I have not tried out yet.I use the Emjoi for rough heels, calluses, and sometimes very lightly for the skin of hands. I have health issues both with my skin and my nails. I cut my nails quickly after shower, then smoothen the edges with the Emjoi. It is not precise, but does the work just fine. I tried the AP-3RPM Micro-Pedi Manicure Kit. I used it some, but can manage my nails just with the Emjoi gizmo. And I lost the little metal piece, which they attach to...If I did not have this product, I would have needed to go for professional manicures and pedicures already for years. With Emjoi I have been able to manage my nails and skin so far at home and saved a lot of money. The extra refill rollers cost quite a lot too, but become still much cheaper and saves also time and effort. I need to be able to deal with my nails/skin when a need is there. With Emjoi I can take care of them any time, anywhere.When I travel in the country or abroad the Emjoi travels with me. I wish I would have known about this product already years ago.THANK YOU, Emjoi.

Amazing!!! After 22 years in the Army, my feet had developed some pretty serious calluses. I wanted to have softer feet and lose the cracks for flip-flop weather on our vacation, so I gave this a try. I fully charged this little guy and used it over a towel while watching TV. With no effort, and 20 minutes later I literally had feet softer than I've had probably since I was 10 years old. I mean "BABY" soft feet. No more cracks, at all. The device was still working good when I finished the first pedicure. I followed up again the next night just a little bit, and my spouse could not believe how soft my feet were.The only negatives I found is the on/off sliding button is a little tricky, meaning sliding it all the way up into the "on" position didn't work. Sliding it gently up to about the 98% up/on position worked fine. That could just be my unit and not all. The other issue that is really a non-issue is that the recharge light stays on when plugged in whether it's charging or not, regardless whether I have it plugged in for 10, 24 or 36 hours, so you never really know when it's fully charged and can be unplugged. These are minor issues when compared to the amazing results and ease of use.

I have owned this micro Pedi for years. Still works and keeps my feet pretty.

I have heavy calluses on my feet and this is the best remedy I have found. My feet look better than they have in a long time after using this device once a week for a month. That being said, here are the cons: The discs don't last very long on my feet....and they are fairly expensive to replace........if you have nice smooth feet that won't be a problem for you. Of course if you have nice smooth feet, you don't need this to begin with. I also have some concerns about the battery life.......it will run approximately 20 minutes before slowing down which is enough time. However, my concern is that with most rechargeables, each recharge lasts fewer minutes.......how many charges will I get before it is needing to be recharged after five minutes. Time will give the answer I suppose. I will try to remember to update this after a few months of use because I do plan to continue using this device and would recommend it to those who have tried everything else. Its not perfect, but will improve your feet greatly with time and patience.

I bought this as a replacement for a battery operated version that I've had for years and years. Finally the battery compartment corroded, but I'm hoping since this is a plug in that won't happen. The cord for the plug seems long enough, so shouldn't be an issue to use. Works just like the other products from this brand!

Bought for my daughter as a Christmas present after she tried mine at Thanksgiving. She was thrilled! But her husband hooted when he asked what it was and she answered "a foot shaver"!Hey, if you have feet like mine (ours), I call it "a miracle"! When your feet are so bad you are ashamed to even go for a pedicure, this is the device for you! My feet have not looked or felt this good in thirty years!Tips: 1) Don't try to do it all at once. I took it slowly - in total about two weeks, a little bit every evening. That way you won't go too deep. 2) Don't press the sanding area onto your foot. Just let it lay onto the foot and it works better. Pressing on it slows it down. 3) Spend the extra money to get the rechargeable unit. Otherwise you are going to go through a lot of batteries!----------------Update: July 2015I was gazing at my beautiful feet (yes, I do that nowadays sometimes) and thought I'd update my review. This little appliance is just fantastic! If your feet are as bad a mine were, it will take you a few weeks of daily use. Also, I ordered some of the "very coarse" refills and that helped a lot on the heel area.Nowadays I use it about every 3-4 days to just lightly go over potential problem areas. Then I massage in Amlactin body lotion - another new product for me that works extremely well. Amlactin lotion is pricey but well worth it. I watch for it to be on sale at CVS pharmacy - Buy one, get one at half price.This is the first summer in many, many years that I can wear an open back shoe or sandals DO treat yourself to owning one of these. And be SURE to get the rechargeable unit, otherwise you will be purchasing a whole lot of batteries.
