I particularly like its 2K and 1080P video quality. The pictures taken during the day are very clear. The STARVIS infrared night vision function also performs well at night. I can also see clear video content when driving at night, which makes me feel more at ease when driving at night.

Parking monitoring is a feature that I particularly appreciate, giving me peace of mind while parking. Whether it’s day or night, this dash cam performs well. Highly recommended to all car owners, the price is reasonable and well worth the investment!

High-resolution recording of 2K and 1080P allows me to capture more details. The loop recording function is also very convenient, so you don’t have to worry about insufficient storage. Including a 128GB memory card, the capacity is large enough to store more driving data.

I have a dash cam in my car, different brand. When I came across this one I decided to order it for my truck.I had a friend of mine to install it. He’s use to doing this kind of stuff so according to him it was a breeze.Once he installed, he guided me through the functions and it seemed pretty easy to use. The camera quality and audio quality is pretty good.I’m still working through using it but I’m liking it so far.

The parking monitoring function allows me to maintain a certain level of safety when parking. Any abnormal situations will be automatically recorded, which is very considerate.

I live in a city so having a dash cam gives me a lot of peace of mind for added security! This is my first ever dash cam so I can't really compare it to anything else, but I've been really happy with the performance and honestly just the added peace of mind makes this so worth it for me.

Updated: 11/12/24It took some time, but after working with their support through Amazon they released a firmware that fixed two problems. 1) It now supports 512GB sd card, and 2) an issue where previously it would only record up to 2.5GB of video regardless the size of the cd card.Both issues are now resolved.Updated: 10/6/24I'm not sure how many stars to dock for this. Perhaps it's a minor error. The listing says the device supports 512GB sd-card. I order an appropriate dash cam sd card, which is not inexpensive, only to find it is not working. I message the seller, who is very kind and helpful. But they explain that the device supports a maximum of 256GB. So the listing is incorrect.Further, the listing states that GPS is a separate add-on, which I'm not sure is right. It is supposed to have GPS built in.So, the dash cam works great still. It records as desired. Picture is clear, I like the features. But in order to support 512GB as I had wanted, I went ahead and ordered a Rove 3 channel camera.I found the support very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the listing was not accurate.Original: 9/20/24Short Summary:It's a good dash cam. It took me some time to figure some of the functionality, but after a week, I've decided I like it. Even within the week we got it, someone stopped us to talk on the side of the road, and the camera captures the entire thing, front back, and inside. Word to the wise- take time to understand how to use it.Some notes:- I used an ODBII adapter for power, a redtiger one. Be sure to power on the car before plugging it in. After that, you will be able to enable the parked recording.- The camera works with the redtiger ios app for settings and reviewing recordings. You can turn on wifi, connect the phone to it's wifi, and connect to the camera with the app.- You can remove the camera from its mount and plug into a pc (usb c) to view the recordings. Something my previous camera could not do.- Heat: it has ventilation holes. A must. I also set it to automatically turn off the screen after a time to further try to reduce heat. Even so, in shade it still gets hot. A previous camera I had was killed by heat.- Night vision. Works great on the outside cam and inside camera.- Audio: picked up conversations clearly. Even from those speaking outside the car.- Picture quality: Not much to say here other than it's great. Even the back camera. No fuzz or anything.The brand:Papago! looks to be a chinese brand that has been making dash cams for some 10 years or so. They appear to be well established in other countries. HOWEVER, while they have a US website, it is not working for me at time of this writing. Also, I have seen other dash camera's by them on Amazon that only sold for a short time. It looks like the primary way to reach them is through Amazon.I have another camera I bought, by Rove. It's more expensive, but it seems better built. It's got more ventilation and looks like even a heat sink inside. Even so, I'm happy with the Papago so far. It does the job, and it does the job well. Time will tell how long it lasts.
