This is a good little curling brush. I’ve always used the brush style curling iron, when I cut my hair short I needed a smaller barrel. This is perfect. You can brush it out to straighten the hair or brush up from the roots to make more volume. I’m hoping that when my hair is longer I can make some tighter curls around my face. It does get hot enough, I think 450 and it heats fairly quickly. The one thing about the brush type curling irons is you have to be careful not to break the bristles. So far they have held up, no breaks yet. I would purchase this again.

I am a guy with short hair. I thought it would be better than a blow dryer, less noise and more control but it was not the case. The wind of the dryer pushes the hair to the brush. With this heating brush you have use your hand more to accommodate the hair to the direction you want your hair to go. It is hard to explain but the end result was just not worth the whole buying and returning ordeal. My hair looked busted and unevenly heated to be honest. After one try it was returned. None of the reviews here claim that it is a good styling tool. I thought that the people complaining were just doing it wrong. I tried it myself and found out that they were right. I hope my review helps you decide.

Heats up nice. You have to watch how you hold it or the temperature changes.

Nice small barrel for short hair

This is a great size curling iron. I have a short pixie cut and finally, a curling iron I can use.Makes great strong curls. Love It!
