Luckily this is only a 1 oz bottle, the smell feels very pungent to me. I assumed it would be a minty or earthy smell, but it smells very herby and medicinal, which I’m not the biggest fan of, personally.

The one ounce bottle of Palmarosa essential oil was packaged in a box that kept the dropper separate so it wouldn't break. The box was placed in an Amazon box with some paper to keep it in place. So the bottle and the dropper arrived intact. The bottle is sealed with a plastic seal that you tear off so you know it's a pristine bottle. The smell is what I expected it to be, somewhat flowery. My main use for it is to apply it on wooden blocks that I keep in my closet, drawers and windowsill to ward off insects. It will also be useful next summer when mosquito season starts and I will mix it with different oils to make it wearable as an insect repellent.

Let me just say first that I had no real idea what this scent was going to smell like, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I find it cloying, but I will say this; I turned the humidifier off quickly, yet the smell was still lingering the next day. So I guess if it were a scent I found pleasing, instead of nauseating, that might be a selling point.

Genuine High Quality Essential Oil. Smells kind of like Ylang Ylang, and calms and relaxes almost similarly.
