Tupperware Super Crisp It Lettuce Keeper White

Perfect replacement for my 60 year old original Tupperware lettuce crisper! Only now it’s larger to fit my head of lettuce without having to squish down the lettuce. My lettuce stays crisp for us to eat it up before going bad. Best lettuce keeper out there!

I was afraid to buy this because there were complains that the lid didn’t fit properly. But I knew I needed a Tupperware Lettuce Keeper as mine got lost in a move and I had that one for at least 25 years. So, it did take just a little more effort than my original to get the lid settled. But, after got it on the first time I found it was much easier going forward. The bottom line is that I do not find it to be a cumbersome task and my lettuce loves it. I think there may be a proposal in the near future!

The lid doesn't fit. I was replacing my old one because the lid won't fit anymore after 20+ years. This new one won't fit right out of the box. I saw the note saying to place it in hot water. It doesn't help. Maybe they should adjust the lid before selling it. This isn't a do it yourself product.

I have now been full circle ordering various lettuce keepers. I like the bigger sizes, some of the features that come with them for moisture control and division of compartments. But Tupperware still has the best fitting, longest lasting lid of all. Some of the harder plastic lid tabs on other brands snap off within days of use. Tupperware does not. It’s size is a little small but it lasts forever. Just too expensive though!

I had an old Tupperware lettuce keeper that after 30 years wore out. This one is keeping my lettuce fresh longer. I hope it lasts 30 years!

I cannot express how disappointed I was in this product. I have an old Tupperware lettuce crisper( at least 40 yrs. old) that still keeps the lettuce at least 2 weeks, even though the thingy with the the cone shape is no longer there, so I believed I would be getting the same quality in a new one, as my entire household has decided to go on a diet. Anyway, the lettuce was in the crisper May 1st, and yes it was reasonably dry as I only wash lettuce as I use it. Today is the 5th and there is significant browning on the edges, and all the leaves were moist. It’s use it or lose it, what can be used. Would not recommend.

Product exactly as described - fast delivery - but came in ebay packaging - seller said was part of their mothers estate sale. Happy with the product and all aspects of the purchase.

Lid is a little difficult to get on, but works perfectly.

Never thought this would extend the lettuce but wow it’s great and stays crisp .
