Essentials Ladies Hairbrush

My hair is almost to my waist I previously bought a brush that was almost $100.00 made from a historical hairbrush company and made of boars hare. It only brushes the top layers of my hair. It is terrible. It was a real waist of money and I gave it the review it deserved. I recently purchased this Lady Cathrine brush, and I am so happy with its performance. Not only is it beautiful and comes with its own fancy bag, but it completely outperforms any of these modern brushes on the market and even the historical ones sold at a much higher price. This brush performs as a brush should do. It gets through every level of my hair. It smooths the hair and helps to leave a shine. My hair is medium—not thick and not thin. I prefer a brush that makes my hair look brushed after I make the effort, and this brush does the trick. It is easy to clean, and being white—it is easy to see when a cleaning is needed. Anyone who is wanting a true working hairbrush that gets to the roots of the hair and making your hair feel truly brushed—should give this hair brush a try. I am decades old and I have had my share of hairbrushes in my life. I am so happy with this brush, I plan on getting another and putting it away. I hate it when a favorite brush breaks or goes missing after years of use and I can no longer find another to replace it.

After years of using modern vented hairbrushes with plastic spikes and little balls on the end (the little balls that trap cruddy old hair and exfoliated scalp cells) -- it was time for a switch. It seems there aren't a lot of old school nylon bristle brushes out there, but then I found this one. I balked at the price, it just seemed crazy expensive -- but I read about the history of this product and decided to try it. I AM SO GLAD I DID. This brush is VERY high quality in a way I did not expect. The glossy white handle is heavy and substantial -- really pretty and classy. And the bristles are perfection. Shaking my head at some of the reviews that are saying the bristles are too soft? Are you kidding? They might be too soft to shred a brillo pad, I guess! The bristles are perfection. I have very thick hair and the brush bristles easily reach to my scalp so that I am able to give it a good sweep and comfortably distribute the oils down my hair shaft. I have an oily patch at the top front of my head that constantly gets stringy unless I shampoo every other day. This brush has solved that problem! I give a firm swooshing to that patch every morning and after a minute or so of brushing, my hair looks clean again like it was washed the night before. For that reason alone, this brush is worth every penny of the price. Adding to that, it's going to be very easy to keep clean because of the way it's built. Just run a comb through it every few days, and once every couple of weeks clean it up with some shampoo. No more picking at hairballs with tweezers and scissors to get around those stupid brushes with the plastic spikes and ball tips on the ends. I LOVE this Stanley hairbrush and will highly recommend it to my friends and family.

I’ve used a lady Catherine hairbrush for years! I love it! The bristles are long making it the high quality go to brush for long hair! Long thick hair needs a bristle that will reach the scalp to distribute scalp o ill s to the strands of hair making it shine and healthy. They don’t make hairbrushes like they use to. This brush was made for durability to suit long hair! I wouldn’t want to be without it!

My mother used to have this same hair brush 50 years ago. It worked then and it works today. My head is off and itchy and I love brushing my long hair with this brush brushing my scalp it just feels so good. This is just a good quality hair brush that you can't go wrong with.

Good quality with bristles long and stiff enough to easily reach scalp. This brush is easy to clean and very durable. Just like the version of this brush from years ago, I think it will last a very long time.

Good size and nice quality for a hairbrush. After reading some of the reviews, I thought the nylon bristles would be harder, but they are more medium to me. I have very coarse, curly, hair and lots of it which is a nightmare. I cannot use the boar bristle brushes, they are too soft and don't even go through my hair. I can't do the plastic bristles with the nubs on the end either, they just pull and yank out my hair. I need a stiffer straight nylon bristle that can go through my hair and this does a fantastic job! After buying and having to throw away 6 new brushes I am now very happy with this brush.

I grew up using this brush and never found one that brushed like this one. I wasted a lot of money, I should've just bought this one since the start. Love it.

This classic Lady Catherine brush is TOTALLY worth every penny cent and THEN SOME!! I remember my Mimma’s dresser with HER Lady Catherine sitting next to her Cody face powder. My sister and I each had one that lasted well over 40 years. Not only is this brush perfect for all hair types it extremely healthy for your scalp. I was in the hairstyling business over 20 years and men AND women wanted to know two things.. how can my balding scalp regrow and what is the best conditioner for my hair? Hands down I recommended ONLY this brush. It stimulates the hair follicles which makes hair grow and shine. Hair grows like crazy if you literally brush your hair 50- 100 strokes every night. It WORKS. THIS BRUSH IS A WONDER!!!!!!

Toujours été la meilleure brosse que j’ai utilisé dans ma vie , j’en avais une depuis toute petite, je me l’étais fait voler et je suis trop contente d’avoir retrouvé cette merveilleuse brosse sur Amazon ! C’est la brosse idéal pour les têtes sensibles, elle est géniale pour les cheveux longs , ne casse pas , n’abîme pas les cheveux , agréable au cuire chevelu, tel un massage!!
