boa base, mas não vi diferenças significativas
Boa base, mas não vi diferenças significativas em relação a sem revestimento. A estética do tamper fica melhor com ela.

Another Great Normcore Item
As a serious coffee and espresso enthusiast, I've used many accessories. This base added to the Normcore Tamper puts an attractive pattern on top of the ground coffee and helps with a better extraction.

Well-made flat tamper base that improves consistency and workflow
Nick’s Take (Short Version):If you’re looking to change or upgrade the base on a Normcore spring-loaded tamper, this flat, coated base delivers consistent results and integrates cleanly into a home espresso workflow. The coating helps reduce cling, but like all espresso gear, it doesn’t eliminate static entirely.Context & SetupI use this with the Normcore Spring Loaded Tamper V4 on a Breville Dual Boiler. The 58.5 mm size is a near-perfect fit for my baskets. Compared to the stock Breville tamper, the Normcore system as a whole is a big upgrade — the spring-loaded design adds stability and self-manages pressure, making consistent tamping much easier, especially for anyone without perfect technique.I initially started with a ripple base and later decided I preferred returning to a traditional flat tamp. When Normcore released this titanium PVD–coated flat base, it felt like a natural upgrade rather than a lateral swap. I’ve now been using it for about a year and haven’t felt the need to explore other tamper upgrades since.Fit & SeatingThe base fits snugly with little to no play. Very occasionally, a small amount of grounds will cling to the basket wall when resetting for a second press, but this is rare. The self-stabilizing action during tamping is a game changer, particularly for anyone with wrist limitations or who can’t tamp at a traditional angle. I tamp on a mat, which provides enough stability, though a portafilter holder would further reduce strain.Performance & Workflow ImpactFor a home barista looking to simplify their process and remove one more variable from chasing a consistent shot, this is an easy upgrade. Tamping feels repeatable and predictable, and shot consistency improved once I settled on a flat base that matched my preferences. It also lowers the learning curve for other household members, making it easier for them to produce good results without as much technique.Finish, Coating & MaintenanceThe titanium PVD coating does help reduce cling compared to uncoated bases, but it’s not a cure-all. Static, humidity, grind size, and coffee origin still matter. If you neglect cleaning over time, buildup will occur — this isn’t a miracle surface. That said, it performs well day to day and has held up without issue.Who This Is (and Isn’t) ForIf you already have a tamper base you love and are happy with your results, there’s no urgent reason to change it. However, if you want to adjust your tamping feel, improve consistency, accommodate different tamping styles, or make it easier for others to pull good shots, this is a worthwhile option. If I were rebuying today, I’d still choose the coated flat base.Bottom LineEspresso gear is always a balance between expectations and diminishing returns. This base does exactly what it claims, complements the Normcore tamper system well, and delivers consistent, repeatable results without overpromising. It earns five stars for performing its role reliably within a dialed-in workflow.
