Q: Noise. They are very comfortable , but the squeaking noise is awful and embarrassing. Is there anyway ti to make it stop?

No I don’t because mine don’t squeak. Mine are very comfortable and no noise. I will buy again.

Q: I have two questions first do you still feel the pain using this item from the plantar Second should I just go with the inserts or have the surgery

First question, yes but not as bad. there is no magic insert that helps for long, at least for me. They help for a week, maybe two then the new wears off and it creeps back in. [that's just my experience]... Second question... that's a very subjective question not knowing all the circumstances. Again, this is just me, I'm a "big" guy so when my feet hurt I know why. With my arthritis and everything else, I personally would never let them cut and fuse or whatever because I firmly believe the "cure" is worse than the "disease" and in my opinion just like most back surgery it will never be the same. Hope this helps..
