Comes in handy for moving
These made our moving process so much easier. Fit our thick mattress easily and compressed it flat. I would recommend water straps because once rolled up the straps were holding on for dear life and one broke at the buckle

Waste of money, & ruined my clothes
I bought 6 of these for a move. Two came with a large hole along the seem straight out of the box. The rest would not hold the vacuum seal longer than an hour.I used them for 2 twin soft foam matresses, 1 queen foam mattress, and 3 foam bean bag(love sac). These were a very expensive mistake. It was too late to return. I needed this product to do as intended. Not get empty apologies and replacements. Save your money and find something better. The rainbow straps bleed when wet. It was raining on moving day and me and the movers got ink on our clothes.

Great quality and easy to use!!
This works absolutely amazing! I was hesitant to buy this because of some of the bad reviews, but I went for it anyway because it seemed like the best option out there, and I needed it simply to get my mattress outside to the curb for trash pick up. After using it and it working perfectly, I can confidently say that those bad reviews are USER ERROR!!! I did this on my own (king size bed) and it was quite a task, so I would definitely recommend two people for the rolling process if it is a queen or king mattress! So to start... It was easy to slide the mattress into the bag, but make sure you give yourself enough room!! The bag did catch on my dresser, and I got a little scared, but the plastic is thick enough that it didn't put a hole in it thankfully, and it didn't jeopardize the integrity or strength of that area! Once it was in, it took about 5 minutes to make sure that I was securing the zipper properly and evenly. When opening the box, make sure you do not overlook the small white piece that you use once you have hand sealed the bag! It took care of small spots that weren't completely sealed that I overlooked and definitely would not have found without it! Once it was sealed, I turned on the vacuum and it took about 10 minutes for it to vacuum most of the air out. I then moved the mattress (much easier to maneuver at that point) to my living room floor to finish the vacuuming and rolling process. I recommend stepping on it, especially at the sides, for quicker progress to force air out faster without burning out your vacuum motor!! That only took an additional minute to finish the vacuuming process. Here is where you need two people for a queen or a king size mattress. Make sure you tuck it nice and tight at both ends and the middle at the same time and as you roll hold the edges on either end so it doesn't unravel! If you don't roll it tight enough, the straps will not fit around it! The straps are adjustable so it doesn't have to be rolled to a certain size, but it does need to be rolled tight!

Got 2 uses out of it so far
This vacuum bag for queen mattresses is made of good quality thick plastic. After fully reading the instructions, it was fairly easy to use. I was sealing my 12" memory foam queen mattress to transport for my move, and I did it by myself. For reference, I'm a 50+ year old lady with no upper body strength. Anyway, I think my mattress weighs over 100 pounds, making it a challenge for me but I got it sealed up. I had to reseal it because the sides didn't line up -- user error. So finally I got it correct and vacuumed it as flat as it was gonna get, maybe about 3 inches (not bad). The whole process took me over an hour. I had no help. Rolling it up was also a challenge but would be quicker and easier with assistance. One strap clamp broke as I was securing the roll. Then a second one broke upon releasing the roll. The straps themselves are ok but the plastic clamps are rather weak.So after I got the queen mattress to its destination, I put a 4 inch full size foam mattress in the bag. Again, I had to reseal, but I think the zip lock lost some integrity because after I vacuumed that mattress down to an inch, I capped the valve and let the mattress rest on top of the queen mattress as I decided what to do with it, the full size mattress re-inflated back to its original size. In less than 10 minutes. Inside the sealed bag. I re-vacuumed, rolled it up, and immediately tied up the roll with the remaining straps. The mattress was small enough to tie, so I am storing it in a closet for now. I would say for best results, follow the directions exactly, and get someone to help. And use it once.

Mattress rolled like a joint
It worked very well on my hybrid ueen sized mattress. 12 total inch thickness (a 2 in topper and a 10 in bed) reducing it down to about 4 in thick. I will say if you use a hybrid mattress you will DEFINITELY NEED HELP ROLLING IT UP. The compression works well however, and it seems to hold a good seal. Many of the reviews complain of it leaking. I did notice a small leak while sealing it, but it was resolved by frequently resealing the zipper. Additionally i strongly recommend pulling the zipper upright after sealing it to prevent strain on it. Make sure you che k the zipper frequently. The instructions also mention that if you are going to be storing it for long term wrap it in packing tape. I personally wrapped mine in duct tape to ensure a long lastong tight roll. The plastic on the bag itself is thick and seems rather durable but i still recommend being gentle with it as you compress it.If sealing any mattress with springs ie a hybrid like i did i do advise laying on it on the edges and corners to help compress the bag and make it easy on your vacuum. You will need a second person if youre sealing anything spring but im not knocking points off for that since it says its for foam.It fit well over the mattress (queen size with topper AND linens(topper, mattress protector pad) fitted sheet))) and was fairly easy to slide the mattress into. Should it fail in storage i will update my review. But over all it seems to be solid and do the job well.
